A Story to Tell

You ever have those days where you just feel exhausted?
And you feel like there's an object in front of you
Preventing you from moving forward?
Have you ever had a day where all you want to do is sleep?
And you feel like watching hours and hours of the tv and movies you love?
Just because of their stories and the words the characters say
Like how the Doctor says "900 years of time and space and I've never met anyone who wasn't important"
Or how Avatar Aang says "When we hit our lowest point, we are open to the greatest change"
Or how Neale Cassidy from Once Upon a Time says "that's how you know you've really got a home. When you leave it, there's a feeling you can't shake, you just miss it."
And then there are the actual stories
The story of Tracy Turnblad and how she segregated the Corny Collins show because she believed in equality
The story of Matilda and how she escaped a neglectful family and never gave up hope through books
The story of Hiro Hamada and how he let go of his anger and rage toward his brothers death
The story of Wreck-It-Ralph and how Ralph proved people can change-you just have to let them
My point is, all theses characters have stories
All stories have ups and downs
If they didn't, it wouldn't be a story
So, what makes your story, your ups and downs, so different?
It's okay to lay in your bed until you feel better
It's okay if all you want to do is cry
It's okay if you've hit a brick wall
Just know that with every negative, there's a positive
Just know that you may feel alone and abandoned now
But in the future
When all of this is over
You'll have a pretty good story to tell

I'm a little out of my comfort zone because it doesn't rhyme. Anyway, these are just some words I decided to write when I couldn't fall asleep, so none of this might make any sense. Thanks for reading anyhow.
