The Race

I'm feeling nice today so here's a treat!!

Finally. They had made it. And they loved it.

It was loud, dark and music was baring from every car there. Just their style. This reminded them of the kind of party's they used to have, before the break from music.

"Okay people!! How are you doing toning?" A voice was heard over a speaker. Everyone began cheering and chanting "race" over and over again.

"So I'm guessing y'all are ready for the main event?" Again, more cheers.

"The first race of the night will be our very own home-town champion, Celestial Tail-lights!!!" And suddenly a blue car raced to the front. The driver got out, and it was none other than the one and only, Lucy Heartfilia.

"Hey guys, I think I found them" Jellal says calmly. They don't know when it happened, but they rest of the girls got out of the same car. They didn't pay attention to the other racers name because they were distracted by the girls. Each staring at a different one. Natsu, of course, was tearing intently at Lucy. She was wearing a black crop-top that ties itself on the bottom and ripped skinny jeans. She sported sunglasses at the top of her head to keep her bangs at bay and an colorful patterned phone case and sparkly converse.

"Woah" was all he said.

Gray was just captivated by Juvia, the race starter. She had a gray middle sleeve shirt and purple pants that totally worked for her, just like her combat boots and her purple nail polish. What particularly caught his attention was the jean jacket wrapped around her small waist and her shiny necklace.

"Huh" was all he could say.

Jella had a hard time looking elsewhere too. Erza was looking especially fine in her Fall Out Boy shirt and her leather jacket. Her ripped skinny jeans and her maroon converse just made her more appealing.

"Holy...."

Gajeel kept his cool. For about 6 seconds. It all went to the dump when Levy stretched and her floral long sleeve hiked up her stomach and showed most of her abdomen. Gajeel thought that the floral look was great for her, even her shoes fit her look well. He did spend quite an amount of time admiring how she looked in her skinny jeans.

"Oh...."

Stunned and speechless, the boys were seen staring. Lucy was pissed!!

"Erza!!" She yelled but was barely heard over the loud music. Erza walked over in a defensive stance as if to say that whoever made her mad would have hell to pay. They whispered and pointed for a while but finally, Erza turned and everything they feared was in her eyes.

She stomped over and began speaking.
"All of you. STAY. HERE." And with that she left to go support Lucy.

The race, for the most part, was boring. It was just the adrenaline rush that made them feel alive. Lucy was the winner of the final race, but that was kind of expected. When all the hype died down and the crowd around Lucy finally dispersed, they ALL came stomping over.

"What are you doing here?" Levy asked fiercely.

"What? We can't come and enjoy illegal events" Gajeel bit back. Lucy sucked in a deep breath in fear that they might eat her out.

"Relax, Luce-"

"Luce?" Lucy cut off Natsu. He cleared his throat.

"Like I was saying, we won't rat you out. All we need is........." He looked around for help from his friends as to what kind of explanation he would give the girls as to why they were there.

"Help" Jellal suddenly burst out. Everyone looked at him for a while until they boys finally caught on.

"Yes! Help! That's what we need. We kinda suck with school so we heard that you were some good people to learn form" Gray finished off with the rest of the boys nodding their heads.

"And who exactly told you where to find us tonight?" Juvia asked suspiciously.

"Mira" all boys said without a blink of an eye.

"Mira" all the girls groaned.

After a quick look around as a survey, the girls finally gave their respected 'fine'.

"Great! We have a math exam on Monday so we were hoping you could help us out with that........tomorrow?" Jellal said as politely as he could for Erza was still looking at them menacingly.

"Sure. What time?" Levy said with little interest.

"How about...............11:00 am?" Gray said nonchalantly.

"Sure" all but one girls said.

"What the balls?!" Lucy screeched.
"No, uh-uh. Not tomorrow. Well at least not in the morning. Saturday's after races is when we lay around all morning eating pretzels and drinking Coke at my house and talking smack about who looked fat. That's my Christmas!!"

All the guys couldn't help but laugh at that.

"Well if you want Luce, we can move it to.... I don't know....... 4 o'clock?"

"I guess that will work" she muttered "and my name is Lucy. Say it with me LU-CY. Lucy!"

All Natsu could do was laugh. They each said their goodbyes and parted ways. The boys walked away feeling confident about their shot with those girls. The girls walked away, with their eyes rolling, thinking this would be a one time thing.

Oh, if only thing were that simple.
