The Morning After

Lucy was the second one to wake, after Cana. Luckily, Cana was there. She could probably help with this MAJOR headache she was having. Being the one who gets drunk the most, she's gotta have something to remedy this.

Lucy walked into the kitchen where Cana was busy at work. When she noticed her, a devilish smirk played along her lips.

"GOOD MORNING, LUCY!! HOW ARE YOU FEELING!!"

Lucy wanted to cry. Why in the world Cana decided to scream when she was clearly hungover, she would never know.

"Oh, God, please stop."

But of course, she didn't.

"DO YOU AANT SOMETHING FOR THE HEADACHE?!"

"Lord, please kill me now" Lucy whispered while holding onto her head that felt like it would explode. Cana took pity on her and handed her a cup full of green liquid and mouthed the words 'drink this' to Lucy.

Hesitantly, she drank it. The first thing that threw her off was the taste. It tasted like a dead fish's and a carton of rotten milk's love child. The second thing that threw her off was that the drink actually worked.

"I'm contemplating on whether to hate you for screaming or love you for helping."

Cana smiled and said, "No prob. Just helping a sister out."

At that exact moment, everyone else came in groaning and holing their heads. After Cana made them  suffer, she handed them the same drink she did Lucy. Cana was then showered with praise for helping and received one minor death threat from Erza for making her suffer more tha she already was. Lucy heard the faintly familiar sound of Luke's car pulling up the drive way. Whe he came in, the first thing he did was turn on the lights.

"Ahhhhhhhhh"

"Lord, make it stop!!"

"God, I hate you!!"

The light hurt their sensitive eyes and Luke was just shaking his head.

"The day I go spend the night with my girlfriend, you and your friend get drunk. Shame, shame, I know your name."

Luke directed his fake disappointment towards Lucy who just shrugged it off and watched him head upstairs to his room. She took a sip of the coffee she had just made and remembered what actually happened last night. Her eyes widened hand she almost choked on her own spit.

"Anywho...... Y'all need to go" she said while blushing. The boys looked confused until Lucy elaborated with a fake but true excuse.

"We have to get ready to go dress shopping for the fall dance."

As if reading her mind, the girls started pushing the guys out the door.

"Thank you for your help but we really need you to leave now. Bye!!"

And the food was shut.

"Oh lord!! Did last night actually happen?!" Levy asked. Everyone just nodded.

"Well, what's done is done. No time to dwell on the past. We need to go get dresses." Erza announced.

Ah, yes, the Fall Dance. It had just been announced last Friday and boys were already lining up to ask them. They were planning on going together but the plan might just alter a bit. [A/N: wink wink nudge nudge.]

"Yeah. Let's just get ready and go."
