Annie’s POV

“Hannah get off me you lump” I mumbled, my face half squashed onto the carpet of my room and Hannah sitting on top of me. It was the Monday after I left the hospital and the girls had arrived about half an hour ago and after a thirty second silence Louise had blurted out “I can’t take it anymore! Annie spill! NOW!” To which I had acted very innocently ‘not knowing’ what she was talking about. This had soon led to all the girls asking me questions about Ed and I and after a very very abridged of our history the questions had begun to get slightly personal. I had then refused to answer a question leading me to my current situation.

“Not until you answer it, come on An you know we don’t keep secrets.” I sighed. She was right and this was getting rather painful. “Fine. The answer is no… we haven’t” I answered truthfully. Some girls giggled or looked at me with raised eyebrows, not believing me. I sat up and crossed my arms over my chest as a small blush spread across my cheeks. “Where’s the fun in that huh?” A girl laughed in the corner. I looked over at her only just noticing her. Her name was Mia and had blonde hair and was short. She stared at me for a long time the corner of her mouth raised into a smirk, as if she knew something I didn’t.

I hastily grabbed Louise and pulled her into my bathroom. “What the hell is Mia Right doing here?!” I said keeping my voice low. “Err… Well… She kinda joined our group whilst you know… you weren’t there.” Louise stammered her cheeks a deep red. Memories flooded to me or Mia and I when we were younger we used to be really good friends but she started changing in secondary school. By year 11 (10th Grade) she had a reputation with boys and wasn’t the nicest person going, if you see what I mean.

“Whatever” I sighed pushing past Louise, I would not let her ruin my night. I walked back into my bedroom and after getting snacks and drinks and making sure everyone was comfy in sleeping bags or on my sofa bed I pressed play on the latest chick flick. As the end credits rolled on the third film, all the girls were asleep. I sighed walking down stairs to take my medication for my leg. As I poured a glass of water I felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and spun around to be looking at Mia. I gave her a questioning look as she held her bag and was fully dressed. “Your Ed's quite the kisser huh?” She said walking towards me.

“What are you talking about?” I said standing my ground. “Ahh did Ed not tell lickle Annie about me?” She said in a whiny kid’s voice. “What the hell are you talking about?” I spat at her. “It was back at Christmas, I met your Ed at a party-“ I put two and two together. “As a matter of fact he did tell me about his little accident. We don’t keep secrets from each other. He made it quite clear to me it was a stupid mistake, that you were a stupid mistake.” I said staring down at her. My eyes flickered to her lips and a pang of jealousy shot through me as I realised she had kissed Ed with those lips. “Whatever. I always get what I want as you know.” Another pang pulsed through my chest I remembered my first boyfriend we were only about 15, I thought I was in love until Mia managed to spread her poison into him, taking him away from him. “Guess you’re wrong there Mia as I am the girlfriend, not you.” I said as she laughed at me before turning around and walked out of my house.

I shook my head, trying to rid the thoughts from my mind but I couldn’t stop wild thoughts still popping into my head every now and again.

Any thoughts on the new character thought I would spice things up a bit with her J
