Again, I sat. Cross legged but this time it was in front of my desk. I stared at the desk as if looking at it would take away all the pain.
But, of course it wouldn't.

I sighed as I pulled out my key. I unlocked the desk and hesitated before I opened the drawer. Pictures. Picture of him. And me. I gagged slightly at our happy faces. How could it be that two months ago Jasper was still my best friend and nothing was wrong?
And now...everything was wrong.

There was a knock at my door. I shut the drawer and locked it. "Come in." I said hoping it wasn't Him.
My mother walked in. I sighed with relief and she smiled at me. "Jasper is in the bath." "You mean shower?"
"Shower, bath same thing." She replied. "Wait..why is he taking a shower?" "He was soaking too!" She almost yelled. "Oh..I forgot." I said sheepishly.
I  moved onto my bed, looking down at my hands,"Mom..." She lifted my chin,"I know you guys aren't the greatest friends..but you know it's better to forgive." I groaned slightly, "He made fun of me."
"What?" She seemed taken aback. "It's stupid, but now he has all the reasons to."
She looked into my eyes, angrily,
"Are you saying you're ashamed?!" "I'm only sixteen" I whispered
Her features softened immediately, " Oh sweetheart." "I'm not at all ashamed, mom, you know that. I'm happy, it's just if people knew.."
"Honey don't worry. You're going to be okay, alright? Think about this, in two weeks you'll be too happy to care" I thought a little, am I ready? Can I do this? God,I'm so scared. "I don't know, what if I don't want to know? what if I'm not ready?"
She laughed,"Trust me, honeydew, you want to know." I smiled slightly, "Okay I do." We heard the shower shut off,"That's my cue! Oh and by the way, I think you're ready, I am too." My mother walked out, smiling to herself.
If she only knew.
