Derek's POV Cont.

" DEREK DON'T YOU HEAR ARIANA CRYING ???? Do something " Rosie screamed from the bedroom.

Ugghhhhh !!!!! What does she expect from me. I held Ariana in one arm and mad Rosie tea and lunch with the other, it's not good for Ari. This is not what I expected when I became a father. It's been weeks since Ariana was born, but Rosie was still in pain. I took care of Ariana by myself with some help from Samantha from time to time. Rosie would only get out of bed for the little things like turn on the light and She couldn't even do that herself. Whoever said having a baby brings people closer clearly doesn't have a one.

"DEREK CAN YOU RUN TO THE STORE AND GET ME SOME CHIPS, A COUPLE OF MAGAZINE'S .... Ooo and Orange soda" Rosie yelled twice as loud waking up Ariana.

I dont know if this is going to last. Im doing it for Ariana now, until Rosie proves to me could do this,i don't have a problem being a single parent. I handed Ariana to Sammy, hopped in my truck and drove to the store.

It was Spring time, chilly but warm. I walked in the store and went straight to the chip aisle.

" Wassup Derek" The cashier yelled

The people that worked here knew me by heart, I always came in for Rosie purposes.

I got her Fanta orange soda, Baked Sour cream and Onion Chips and People Magazine's and went to cash register.

"Are you following me" a voice said from behind me in line

I laughed "Very funny Lucille" I gave her a big hug, Her boobs got in the way

" How you been D ?"

(Speaking of D's cough cough ^^)

For the first time in weeks someone actually cares about how I was doing

" Im Fine, How about you ?"

" Are you sure cause you look tired and stressed" She came closer touching my face.

My member wanted to Join the conversation but I didn't let him

"Huh ?? Oo yeah, nah. I'm just trying to catch up on things" I looked away

"I see" She started to flirt. And I didn't try to stop her, this is the most attention I got in a long time.

" Look Derek, I messed up 7 years ago, I was drunk and Mario and his friend ....

"Next !!!! DEREK!!! " Paul the cashier screamed as if he was calling me for a while.

I turned around and the line was gone. I purchased Rosie stuff and got in my truck. Saying goodbye to Lucille; she ment a lot to me. She cared and gave me attention a man needed. I looked at the.grocery bag sitting next to me.

" Rosie" I mumbled starting the engine. How could I be so blind by someone that cheated on me. My true love was at home with our first child. I drove home happy, putting my needs behind me Ariana and Rosalinda were my only priorities. I pulled in the drive way. From this moment on I was going to put my selfishness away. I unlocked the door and stepped in with a big ass smile.

" WHERE THE HELL YOU BEEN" Rosie slammed the remote down

I never seen her like this, but knew she had it in her

" DO YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS ? ARIANA HAS BEEN CRYING HER ASS OFF, SAMANTHA AND I COULDN'T MAKE HER STOP.. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GO TO THE DAMN STORE !!!!!! You cant to anything right, what kind of father are you ??" She threw something at me

I brushed most of it off, but when she said what kind of father are you, I lost it.

"What kind of father am I" I walked straight up to her face " Im the type of Father that goes out of his way for his family all I do is take care of Ariana AND YOU and Sammy !!! You got some damn nerve"
