Chapter 28

Angelo drove his Range Rover. I laied in the backseat crying still I made myself sick. We stopped a few times cause Angelo had a hard time driving. He blames himself for Derek's accident.

"Yo Rose you gotta chill with that damn crying man" He said hitting the steering wheel

I couldn't help it. I have a slut for a sister, my father died, my mom is becoming an alcoholic, Im pregnant and the father of my child my die any minute. I thought to myself.

We had no time to get settled anywhere, we stayed in the car in the hospital parking lot.

Angelo and I were both nervous to go inside. But we grew a pair and walked in dried eye.

"Derek Rogers." Angelo asked the lady at the front desk.

"Room 820" The lady said handing us visitors passes

I was relieved he didnt ... you know

We got upstairs and his whole family was there, All his boys and his room was full of flowers cards and signs. The two guys that got shot with him were fine. One was in a wheelchair and the other was in the bed next to him. Derek had to be the one to get hurt the worst right ?

when I walked into the room everyone cleared a path for me.I walked over and saw the love of my life fighting for his life. The bullets just missed some major arteries and spine. I laid next to him, everyone was crying. He looked terrible , with a neck brace, Hooked up to a machine and a lot, I mean A LOT of needles and scars.Then some loud ass bitch came walking in.

" Where is he ? Where's my brother" She yelled

" Omg my little brother" she cried

I guess this was Derek's older sister. She looked like money.

Time past and it was only family here. I introduced myself to Melanie Derek sister. She was nice and liked me.

" Samantha you have to go home" Melanie argued

" I dont want to leave" She scream

"I'll take her home "I said

Melanie gave me a weird look and handed me her keys.

"Can you drive" She asked

"Yeah Derek tought me."

She looked at me for a min then I looked at Angelo.

"She good Mel, And yeah Rosie you need to rest. I was too weak to put up a fight, Can she stay with you guys for a while"

Melanie gave Angelo a sour look..I Think they had history. O well

I walked out and Samantha followed..I went to Angelo's car and got my stuff

The drive to Dereks was quite just how I wanted it to be.

Samantha unlocked the door and went straight to her room. I was tired and laied out on Derek's bed until I fell asleep.
