Chapter 20 !

2 weeks later..

My Birthday is tomorrow, I didn't feel like celebrating after What happened.The tattoo healed at least mines did and tension still lingered, i felt like Derek was hinding something. This is the first time I've seen him this mad since we first met.

We haven't talked about situation since. It took a toll out of our relationship, but I built it right back up.

He started smoke twice as much as before. And left at every hour of the night

I sat on the porch listening to the radio and watching Derek take free shots.

Next- Too close started to play and Derek looked at me.

I ran to him and we started singing and dancing, breaking the ice. When the song ended we fell and laughed.

"You know what, let's have a picnic"

He agreed

I went inside to get picnic stuff.

It got lonely up in this cabin with only one person. I missed my friends and Angelo.

Derek's phone was ringing in the bedroom. I walked out side

"Derek your phones ringing"

"Answer it ma" he said making jump shot

I went in to get his phone. It was a blocked ID

"Hello ?"

"Rose ?"

"Yeah Who's this ?"

"Your big brother" he laughed

"Angelo" I signed I relief

I had a milllion questions

"What happend ?? Are you oka.."

" Rosie there's no time for that put Derek on the phone."

Walked out of the room and saw Derek in the fridge getting water.

"Its for you"

"who is it?"

"Angelo"

He looked at the phone then at me

"Hello ?....".. "I know"..." I know"

He looked at me

"Yeah,she's right here"..."Really".."Okay"..." Don't worry I got her"... Alright Bye..

He hung up and gave me the phone

"What he say?"

" He was worried about you and stuff.. ..... ready for that picnic?"

We locked up and headed deep in the woods to this open field.

I brought Strawberries and champagne and the radio. And talked about our childhood.

Derek was a football player in highschool and dropped out of college his last year.

Even though he was a football player he was quite and didn't really date much. His last serious relationship was back in HighSchool. They dated for three year before she cheated with his bestfriend at a party.

" Ooooh I'm sorry Derek" I said

" Nah its all good" He said laying down"She got pregnant" Karma a bitch

"I don't want to take away your childhood if anything, Rose.. Have fun in your life and don't worry about adult things yet." He said

"I grew up treated like an adult" I told him
