Civet finished her cup of water and placed it on the table. "Hmm that was good. I was so thirsty."

Kerberos nodded and licked his lips. "I'm hungry.." Ali shot him a glare and Kerberos laughed. "No. I didn't bring her here for that." Civet let them have their silent conversation.

Ali turned to Civet. "Are you hungry?"

Civet nodded. "Mhmm."

Ali flashed a almost dangerous looking smile. "Well then.. I don't know what you like, but I like...." Kerberos gave her a look that said "Shut it". Ali nodded understanding, Civet wasn't like them. Flesh-eating demons.

Civet shifted uncomfortable in her chair. "Um... do you have any... human food?"

"Yes we do. There are a few humans here... not many, but some. You should try to befriend one, it's better to hang around them then demons all day." Kerberos forced a small smile and walked out of the room.

 "Where's he going?"

Ali shrugged. "Why don't you ask him?" Geez, why did she snap like that? Civet frowned and stood up. She tugged her shirt down a little and followed where Kerberos left. Civet looked around. She has not been in this part of the house before. "So this is the library..?"

It was huge, at least 40 feet up, filled with books on each side. They. Were. Everywhere. "I didn't know Kerberos reads.." She heard a soft laugh. "Haha thats funny. Kerberos doesn't read. I do."

Nicolette jumped down from the shelf, a book in her hand. She looked annoyed, as if she was mad that Civet found her library. "So, what are you doing here anyway?"

Civet shrugged. "I was looking for Kerberos and wondered in here." Nicolette nodded thoughtfully. "Why was she being so nice?" Civet thought confused. "Maybe she was bipolar?"

Nicolette grinned and let out a loud laugh. Civet smiled, knowing she read her thoughts. "No no no, I'm not bipolar. I just don't enjoy new people. I have to get used to them.. y'know?"

Civet nodded. Oh she knew. Civet could tell Nicolette still didn't like her. Her nose twitched. Nicolette's give away to tell she was lying.

With the silence, Civet could tell Nicolette was inside of her mind. So she broke the silence. "Um... where did Kerberos go?"

Nicolette shook her head a little, clearing the stuff she was just reading out of Civet. "Uh...he went in the dinning room."

Civet lifted an eyebrow. "Which is where...?"

Civet thought Nicelette was smarter than this. "Oh... there." She pointed to a bookshelf.

"Um..?" Nicolette grinned slightly and walked towards the bookshelf. Taking in a deep breath, she pushed against it and it opened. Civet watched as the bookshelff's 'door' flew open.

"Cool."

"Mhmm."

"Thank you for showing me this."

Nicolette stared at her. "Don't tell anyone I showed you. Say.. you found it out yourself, Mmk?"

"But.. why?"

Silence.

More silence.

"Are you still here?"

Civet glared at her. "I was here the whole time..."

"Oh...."

"Zoning problem much?"  Civet thought with a slight shake off her head.

Nicolette narrowed her eyes at her. "Aren't you going to find Kerberos?"

"Yeah.."

Nicolette snorted. "Then go."

Civet rolled her eyes at Nicolette and walked into the dark hallway. She saw a fainted light coming from the other side. When Civet was halfway though, Nicolette closed the door on her. She bit her lower lip.

"Oh please, Kerberos be in here.. I would feel stupid if I just fell into Nicolette's trap."

She stopped at the closed door and smiled thinking Kerberos was behind it. Civet pushed it open and widened her eyes. "Oh my god.."  She looked up at the beast. "Kerberos?!"
