Ch.10 A Hellish Hound

     Each day Lily and Zozo both trained Lucy hard to practice conjuring spells. Lucy seemed to become more tired and depressed by the day. The manipulation and seduction spell was weakening each day. She slowly was coming back to the real Lucy but the spell keeps her from awakening. Lucy continues to cry inside and try to stop her self, yet she seems to somewhat enjoy it as much as the mind slave Lucy. But Lucy continues to restrict her outside self as much as she can. Zo doesn't realize she's doing so but has an idea she might be trying, but he uses what he can from this Lucy as much as he can.
"Mrs Lucy I think we should conjure another demon!" Zo said.
"I'm ready!" Lucy said excitedly.
  Lukas watched tensely as Lucy set up for the next conjouring.
She put four candles together and one set in the center on top of the four. She let all five candles and spread ash in a circular formation around the candles. For a couple weeks she'd been practicing the spell.
"Through the ashes of the diseased to the fires of Hell, I wish to not let thy animal become sacrifice for hunger, but for death upon those who are fed from thee who parish. for him we thank our meals so let him rise and take revenge for those who have fallen, those who call themselves human." Lucy chanted.
A huge fire ball formed above the candles. It swirled as if an artist dropped paint on a canvas and mixed it with another color so it'd make the swirl multicolored. But this was pure fire heating the room to the point Lucy sweat constantly.
  Suddenly, something seemed to jump out of the swirling fire ball. It looked like an orange wolf. The fire from the swirl of fire caught fire to the wolfs tail and suddenly the wolf was on fire but didn't burn. Lucy starred in confusion.
"Meet our new companion, a hell hound." Zo said.
"I see-" before Lucy could talk the hell hound pounced on her in excitement.
It licked her face continuously.
"How come it doesn't attack me? And for that matter, how come the flame from it isn't catching fire to me?!" Lucy asked.
"Well you summoned him and he only sets fire to things he wants to catch fire to." Zo explained.
"So that's why I'm not being killed.." Lucy said dreadfully.
"Well what should we name him?" Zo asked.
"He came out of that fire like a flame hitting the match." Lily implied.
"Oh so now you talk!" Zo complained.
"Flame~" Lucy thought.
"How about Flame?" Lucy asked.
They both nod their head in agreement.
"That's a great name miss Lucy!" Zo said. "Flame is a great name for him auntie!" Lily said.
  Lucy sat in her room alone drawing as usual. Zo came in with his food cart. He pulled the white cloth up and Flame jumped out from the bottom tray.
"Why'd you bring him in here?" Lucy asked.
"I'm sorry miss Lucy but he really likes you and he won't pipe down without seeing you." Zo said.
"Fine I'll take care of him for a while.." Lucy complained a little.
"Thanks miss Lucy!" Zo said closing the door leaving.
Flame barked at Lucy.
"You're so cute but how am I supposed to take care of you? I have to walk you, feed you, and I can't do that all secretly each day Flame.." Lucy said.
Flame whaled in a sad tone.
"I know I know. I'll try my best but you're a hell hound, I don't know how to take care of something from another dimension. It's hard enough keeping a ghost girl entertained." Lucy said.
Lucy got out of her chair and hugged Flame.
"Lucy?" Elizabeth said from outside the door.
"Shit-" before Lucy could warn her mother to not come in, Elizabeth opened the door.
Lucy closed her eyes and tightly hugged Flame.
"Lucy! What did I tell you about taking in animals?" Elizabeth said.
Lucy opened her eyes to see she was holding a big brown and white husky with blue eyes.
"He- he was hurt and I decided to help him and he recovered quickly! Don't worry he's a good dog! He won't hurt anybody! I swear it mother!" Lucy exclaimed.
"Well.. I've always wanted a dog and I always thought that having a pet would teach you kids good lessons so.." Elizabeth said.
"So we can keep him?!" Lucy asked cheerfully.
"Sure.." Elizabeth accepted.
"Yay!!" Lucy cheered.
"What's his name?" Elizabeth asked.
"He responds to Flame so I was thinking Flame." Lucy said.
"Well alright. Dinners done and I wanted to talk to you about something later." Elizabeth said.
"Alright thanks mother!" Lucy said.
Elizabeth closed the door and left.
After she left Flame turned orange with his black eyes and fire main.
"What just happened boy?" Lucy asked.
"It's a cloaking spell. Different demons have different cloakings. I can go invisible or into a doll. Flame can turn into a real dog or wolf. While Zo can turn into the butler Zane, but he just stays in the that form so he consumes power." Lily explained.
"I've seen Zo's real form, Scary... But I never knew you could turn into a doll Lily!" Lucy said.
"Yea I use it as a diversion to jump out and scare people. I can even put my soul into a doll!" Lily said.
"Guess I'm throwing away all my dolls..." Lucy thought.
Lucy went downstairs to eat dinner and back up stairs to play with Flame. She walked in to see Zo already there with him. To Lucy's surprise, Zo had a grim look on his face.
"Zo?.." Lucy asked.
"Wealth seeks further to your family now miss Lucy." Zo said.
"What..?" Lucy questioned.
Elizabeth walked into the room.
"Lucy.. Earlier I wanted to talk to you about your grandfather," Elizabeth began.
"Yea, what about him?" Lucy asked.
Elizabeth covered her mouth with one hand.
"He died in his sleep while on his summer vacation a couple nights ago. I'm so sorry." Elizabeth sobbed.
Lucy was shocked. Her grandfather was the one that told her she'd come to sin at this age, now.. Now he was gone.
Lucy remembered one of the last things he said to her before he left for his vacation.
"At this age Lucy, you will become sin but it'll be easy to fix."
