"Lucy! We have to go before we're late! Hurry up!" Elizabeth yelled from the first floor. Lucy hopped on one foot and was trying to put her shoe on the other while closing her bedroom door.
"I'm coming mother!" Lucy yelled.
Today was a big day for the Furnilia family, a very big day. The whole family got inside their Chrysler Limousine to take a ride to their mothers, sisters home right outside of town in the deep forest.
"So why are we going to aunt Stephanie's?" Lucy asked Elizabeth.
"I can't say until we get there darling." Elizabeth answered Lucy. Lucy rolled her eyes from her mother.
The chauffeur, Leopold, was one of Lucy's favorite staff of the Furnilia's.
"Hey Leo do you know why we are going to my aunts residence?" She asked.
"I know the answer to this question but I was told not to answer it if a Furnillia asks." Leopold said. Lucy groaned and sat back against her seat.
After 5 minutes, Elizabeth stopped the car to go buy something and brought her husband with. The children with Leopold stayed in the limousine.
"Hey Leo? Why is the Furnillia family so rich?" The twins asked.
"Well as the story goes, Placed in the 1950's, this Christian family is known through out a small town located in Burnsville,Minnesota. Their daughter Lucy Furnillia and their twin sons Soyar Furnllia and Timothy Furnillia. Mrs. Furnillia and Mr. Furnillia adored their children and their money. Mr. Furnilia married onto Mrs. Furnillia's last name. His birth name being Thomas Livingston. Elizabeth Furnillia, Thomas's wife, mother didn't want her to marry onto another name or else she wouldn't be in her will. Elizabeth's parents ran a company for 40 years making millions and Thomas only wanted Elizabeth's money but couldn't divorce her because of Christianity. Sorry but I know you three children hate your father and I think we all know it's true." Leopold told.
"Don't be sorry, it's true." Lucy said.
"Our grandparents made millions huh? That's why I get what ever i want." The twins said.
"Dumbasses.." Lucy said.
Their parents opened the limo doors and sat inside with grocery bags in their hands.
At Lucy's glance, Thomas had wine in his bag and Elizabeth had some fruits and vegetables in her bag."What is this? Is Aunt Stephanie hosting some dinner party?" Lucy thought.
The Limousine had came close to Crystal lake right next to Burnsville's town and forested terrain. Lucy remembered playing with Brooke, Stephanie's daughter and Lucy's Cousin, in the lake and finding weird rocks and sandy dirty shells. Stephanie was a widow and had 2 children, Brooke and Stacy. Stephanie had only gotten 100,000$ from her parents will. She married onto her late husbands name and didn't care for the money but her love for her now diseased husband. Stephanie seemed even worse every time the Furnillia's came to visit. Stephanie kept everything her husband had. Even his ashes next to her bed.
Lucy was the same age as Brooke but Brooke was a month older. Stacy was the eldest being 23 and moved out. Elizabeth mentioned her being at Stephanie's home today which was a surprise to Lucy because Stacy hates her mother. Stacy hated her mother ever since her father had passed. Brooke and Lucy were only 5 and to young to understand he was gone but Stacy understood and blamed her mother for it. Stacy was 16 at the time and she knew what death meant. An internal sleep and never being able to speak or see them alive and awake again. Poor Walter had died in a car accident saving his wife. He got Stephanie out of the being crushed by the car but he didn't make it in time before the cars hood crushed his bones and organs until he could take his final breath. Poor Stephanie witnessed her husbands death and blamed herself for it, even her own daughter blamed her.
