"What do you think she saw?"
I shrugged, gazing intently at the mirror. Who did Megan see - Snape? Snape can't be her real father... I mean if he was, who was her mother? Sighing, I turned around back to Harry.
"We need to find her - if she gets in trouble, it's our fault," I said, throwing the cloak over us. He nodded and we crept through the cold corridors of Hogwarts. We found Megan in the Gryffindor Common room, staring into the burnt out fire. We sat down on either side of her.
"Hey what's wrong?" Harry asked, looking extremely concerned. She looked at us, but she didn't look sad.
"I saw your Mum and Dad," she whispered. "And you two!"
"What?" I gasped.
"Lily and James Potter," she said. "With you two."
"Your mother and father - you're related - we're triplets?" Harry stammered. That's way to good to be true! I smiled finally, letting the truth fit in.
"But it does all fits doesn't it?" I asked them. "You have green eyes and red hair - exactly what Mum had. What I don't get is that why Snape adopted you."
"He hates me," Megan said, frowning as if something was dawning on her. "Everytime he looks at me... he's seeing Lily isn't he?"
"And he hates us too," Harry added. "It does all fit."
"Coolio, you're our sister!" I said, beaming. She smiled too, but weakly.
"I don't know," she sighed. "Potts isn't the same as Potter."
"But it's similar," I added.
...
On our next visit to the room, we took Ron and Megan stayed behind because Snape wanted her to sleep in his room because he wanted to talk to her. Pfft, more like insult her.
"So it shows your family?" Ron asked again. "Cool! I want to see your family!"
"Same with us, we want to see all your brothers," I said, pushing the door open. Harry stood in front of the mirror.
"See there's my Mum, and there's-" he said, pointing.
"I don't see anything," Ron frowned, trying to see into the mirror from different angles as though one specific angle would let him see our parents. Harry moved aside so he could stand where he was before. Ron gasped.
"I'm by my self!" He exclaimed, which made me frown; why would you be happy if you were by your self. Harry and I looked at him enquiringly. "I'm older, I'm head boy! I'm holding the Quidditch and House cup - and blimey! I'm Quidditch Captain too! Do you think this mirror shows the future?"
"Our parents are dead," I reminded him. Then, Harry and Ron got into an argument about who has more turns with the mirror, ect. "GUYS SHUT UP!" I shouted, making them stop dead. Then there was shuffling and immediately, I knew who it was. "Mrs Norris - ugh come on let's go." We ran to the Gryffindor Common room, holding the cloak so it wouldn't fly off.
...
"So... back again?" I looked over my shoulder in alarm to see none other than the white-bearded Professor Dumbledore. However, to Harry's, Megan's and I's surprise, he was smiling happily down at us.
"Oh sir - I - we-" I stammered. "We didn't see you there."
"It's amazing how being invisible can make you so short-sighted," he said. "So you, like many before you, have discovered the Mirror of Erised. I expect by now you realise what it does as it shows you three Lily and James Potter and it shows Ron Weasley as Quiddich Captain."
