I woke up, shielding my eyes from the blinding sunlight coming in through the broken windows. Harry was still asleep, his eyes tightly shut.
"It was just a dream," he murmured "Just a dream..."
"Brilliant Harry now wake up and yell I'm a wizard," I giggled
"Dudley cut it out- I'm trying to sleep," he muttered, rolling over "Anyway how do you make your voice sound like a girl?"
"I have never been more insulted in all my life!" I said, in a fake 'I'm offended' voice.
Harry's eyes snapped open. He sat up and looked around him.
"I'M A WIZARD!" he yelled
I grinned. There was a knocking sound at the window and I hurried over to open it. I notice it had newspaper rolled up and clamped in it's beak. I took it and the owl held out it's leg, which had a small brown pouch on it.
"Pay him," I heard Hagrid grunt
"I've got no money on me," I replied
"In my pockets," Hagrid said, yawning
Harry helped me empty his pockets, which contained: a kettle, which was very rusty and quite big; a couple of plates, mugs, string, humbugs, mouldy dog biscuits and finally - Wizard money. I counted out five bronze Knuts while explaining to Harry about money. The owl flew away.
"Wow there's so much to learn!" exclaimed Harry, watching the owl get smaller and smaller.
"Oh trust me- there is. Hagrid where we going?"
Hagrid had finally sat up and began to put his giant boots on.
"Gringotts."
"Gringotts?" Harry repeated, with a puzzling look at me
"It's a Wizard bank, and don't worry our parents left us something," I explained "It's run by goblins-"
"Goblins?" Harry asked, amazed
"Yeah, I've never seen them though. I've actually never been."
"Yeh'd be mad ter rob it- I tell yeh that," Hagrid said, stretching "Gringotts is the safest place in the world- except for Hogwarts that is. Great security. I've gotta visit Gringotts too, Dumbledore's set me up to it, see he trusts me." He looked proud. "Now lets get off." We left the hut, and stepped onto the rock. The water had definitely calmed down, as the storm had. The skies were now more or less clear compared to the angry grey clouds the previous day.
"Where's your boat?" Harry asked
"We flew," I answered
"Bu' we have ter take this now," Hagrid added
Harry's mouth fell open. We clambered into boat and settled down. Hagrid looked at the oars.
"Seems a shame to row, do yeh think I could use a little-"
"Magic?" Harry finished eagerly "Yeah go ahead, we won't tell anyone!" He winked.
Hagrid tapped the side of the boats with his umbrella and we zoomed off. He unfolded his newspaper and began to read.
"I never knew the Dursleys were that nasty," I said aloud
"Oh trust me- you haven't seen anything," Harry said and began to tell me about the life with the Dursleys. I learnt shocking things. He had slept in a cupboard under the stairs, until the letters started coming and Uncle Vernon was "nice" to him and gave him Dudley's second bedroom (YEAH- SECOND), which apparently had all Dudley's broken toys. Spoilt Dursley kid that is. Well I could go on forever, but I'll just sum it up - the Dursleys gave Harry hell.
