Different Than Others ((Soul Eater Fan Fic))

CHAPTER 10

Morgann's POV

I smile at Maka. Having a place to stay is one thing off my To-Do List. I stand up to tell the others when Soul comes out. "Maka, who was at-" he stops as he makes eye contact with me. "Oh... What is she doing here?" he asks Maka. "I'm right here.." I wave at him. "Well, 'she', Caleb, and Katelyn are going to have to stay with us." Maka shortly explains. "What?" Soul looks back at me. "Yeah, well, I gotta go. Bye." I walk to the door and leave the apartment. I lay my back against the door and tilt my head back. Next, tell Caleb about us moving in with Maka and Soul.

I skip into the school and to the infirmary. Caleb is in a chair with a needle in his arm. Stein pulls out the needle with a tube of blood. I shut the door to show my presence. Caleb looks at me as Stein continues his work. I sit in a chair next to an open bed and look in Katelyn's direction. Still breathing. Stein sets down his clipboard and looks at Caleb and I. "You two need to go to your next classes. On the periods where I'm your teacher, come back here." he directs us. "What about everyone else in the class?" Caleb asks. "They can handle themselves. Now, go." Stein shoos.

Before I walk out the door, Stein stops me. "After awakening his demon side, that side of him has grown stronger. Keep an eye on him and make sure he stays calm. That side of him will take what ever chance it can. Also, bring him here every morning before first period. I need to keep watch on my own things. Thank you, that's all." he finishes. I leave the room and catch up to Caleb. "What was that about?" he asks, shoving his hands in his pockets. "Nothing..." I give an empty reply. "Are you sure it's nothing?" he pushes. "Well, you have to see Stein every morning before first period." Caleb grunts and rolls his eyes. "What the hell does that creep want?" he asks. "He didn't tell me that much." I admit. "So he did tell you more than what you're telling me!" he exclaims. I punch his arm. "Let it go, would ya." I smile at him. He smiles back and we make our way to our class.

Katelyn's POV (See, Kitty, not dead)

I'm so dizzy. I look to my side to see a glare off of some glasses. The owner looks over with a smile, "Oh, you're awake." Creepy. I straighten myself up in the bed. Stein walks over to me with a sharp object. He scares me. He sits down the object. Oh, thank Death, I thought he was gonna disect me. "Do you remember what happened?" he asks. What is he talking- Oh, wait, no, I remember now. Yeah, that, uh, that was fun.

Ding Dong DEAD Dong!

That's the bell. I hear the door open and Morgann and Caleb walk in. "Your up!" Morgann jumps towards me. She freezes mid air by Caleb grabbing her. He sets her down and she pouts. She walks over to me, slowly so Caleb doesn't stop her again, and sits in the chair beside me. She moves her finger closer to me with a stange, determined look on her face. Her finger touches me arm and in a raspy voice, she slowly let's out the word, "Poke..." Caleb walks over to the other side of me and slowly touches me with his finger and repeats her words. "Poke..." I burst out laughing. I take both my arms and slowly poke them while repeating the word.

Morgan grabs a pillow from the chair behind her. "Hey, Caleb." Caleb looks at her. "Poke!" she throws the pillow at his face. I snicker. He grabs the pillow that was thrown at his face. He holds it up and walks to Morgann. "No. No. No. Nonononono!" she backs up and hits a bed, falling into it. Caleb takes the opportunity to attack. Morgann puts her hands in front of her face and wriggles around on the bed. "No, Caleb, stop! Hahaha, please, no, hahaha!" Caleb ends his attack and helps her up. "You two are adorable." I say. They both blush and look away from each other. I giggle.

Ding Dong DEAD Dong!

"That's our que. Bye Katelyn!" Morgann grabs her things. Caleb trails behind her. "Bye, Kitty. Hey, Caleb." he turns around. I throw my pillow at his face. He catches it and lays it on my bed. "Bye to you too." he waves and shuts the door. And here I am. Left alone to dwell in my thoughts. Oh, the things I can think.

Caleb's POV

*Automatic timeskip to afterschool because my phone wated to autocorrect time to tomato...*

I'm walking home with Morgann. I can't remember the last time all three of us walked home together. There's always something with us. And now we don't even have a place to stay! Thank you Maka for being one of the only nice people in this world. Maka and Soul already went home because we stayed after with Katelyn. She can't come home yet. Its about sunset when we get to the apartment. Maka is Making dinner and Soul is locked up in his room. Morgann is sleeping with Maka and I'm taking the couch. I don't want to be a burden to them. We just barged into their house, we're just lucky they let us stay.

"I'm going out." I grab my hoodie And walk for the door. "Where are you going? Can I come?" Morgann hops up. "Please, stay here. I know Stein proably told you to keep an eye on me, but I need some time alone. Kay, Kitty?" she pouts for a second then nods her head. I open the door and walk out of the building. It's a chilly night. I put my hood up and shove my hands in my pockets. I roam through the empty streets, heading straight for the woods.

I go deep in the trees. Middle of the forest. I roll up my sleeves and change my arms to blades. I begin chopping at trees, branches fall and trunks creak. One tree falls down and I feel that's my que to stop. I sit on the fallen tree and change to wolf form. I lay down on the tree and try to fall asleep. CRUNCH! My head jolts out and my perk up. I look around while I change back to my human form. "Hello.... Who's there?" I ask, turning in circles to try and find anyone.

A girl suddenly emerges from the dark shadows of the midnight sky above the forest. She has long, Brown hair and ears poking from the top of her head. She has orange-red eyes and an innocent look. Her tail wraps around to the front of her. It has a white tip, along with her ears. She looks familiar. Strangely familiar. In positive I know her. I do know her. How could I forget her. She's Hannah. It's Hannah!

"Hannah?"

She smiles, "Nice to see you again, Brother."

Dun dun dun! CLIFHANGER! So anyway thanks for reading and I'm so sorry I haven't published in EVER! I have a chapter now and you've got to understand that I actually do have a life for once and it's hard to make time for this. The picture at the top is Hannah and I hope you enjoyed.
