New Sickness, New Love

Caleb's POV

I wake up. Blinding sunlight, huge head ache. It's 10:00 in the morning. Sunday. I continued felling horible yesterday and today is no better. "Hey, we're going out. You comming? " Katelyn is at my doorway, leaning against one side of it, arms crossed. "No." I can't go. I feel horrible, but I'll never tell. I feel weak. I don't like it. I lay my head on my pillow and keep my eyes glued to the ceiling. "Ok," she turns on her heel. "Let's go Kitty!" she walks down the hall "Nya~ comming!" she passes my door and walks backward to see me sitting in bed with my hands behind my head. "Caleb? Are you coming with us?" she looks confused. I smile. "No. You go have fun, Kitty." she smiles back. "Nya~!" she runs off.

I sigh. It's good to be able to smile without having squeals follow shortly after. I take advantage of the silence. Then, my phone goes off. It's Soul.

S= Hey we're gonna play some basketball wanna come

C= Nah, I'm good.

S= Alright... U sure you're ok?

C= yeah I'm fine

S= Ok see u tonight

I turn off my phone. I never would have thought of Soul to be the caring type. All he really cares about is how "cool" he is. He's so self conscious. I stand up to walk out to the living room, but automatically stumble. I place my hand on the wall to keep my balence. I walk through the house, one hand on the wall. I lay on the couch. I drape one hand across my forehead. I'm burning. I swear under my breath.

I reach for the TV remote (#struggles) and turn the TV on, to pull me out of my thoughts. I put on MTV2 and watch Nick Cannon Presents Wild n' Out (real show, I loves it, PG13) I just listen, not looking at the screen, I keep my eyes shut. I attempt to fall back to sleep until I get I bad feeling. Crap. Crap, crap, crap. I rush to the bathroom and instantly throw up. I throw up over and over. I feel like absolute dirt. I lay my back against the wall behind me. My knucles caress the cold floor. My other arm is laying across my knee as I tilt my head back. My eyelids become heavier. My head is still throbs and spins in circles. I fall asleep.

Katelyn's POV

Morgann and I walk to the mall to meet the girls. All the guys are playing basketball, well, except Caleb. He's been really off lately. I'm actually Quite worried about him. He's never like this. It's really unsettling. Kitty runs ahead of me and I look up to see the girls at the front entrance. I make my way up to them and talk to Tsubaki.

"Hey, how are you?" Tsubaki smiles. I smile back. "I'm great. Where are we going first?" Liz gestures to her self in a fancy fashion, "Well, I'm going to Sefora first." Maka puts her hands on her hips, "I'm going to Half Price Books." Patty and Morgann look at each other and run inside screaming, "YYYAAAAAAYYYY!!!" I look at Liz and then back at the entrance. "I feel like we should get them." I look back at Tsubaki. "Trust me, it's no use." Liz and I say in unison. Maka begins to walk in, turns to face us, and gives a two finger salute. "Bye!" she sings as she walks in. Tsubaki follows shortly after. Liz and I look at each other, thinking the same thing. "Let's go find them." I walk into the mall.

It's not too packed but there's a bit of people. We hear the elusive creatures screaming. The wildlife experts, Liz and I, search the nearest toy store to find them in their natural habiat. The creatures are seen playing with a toy train set while yelling out their mating call,"WHHEEEEE!!!!" Liz and I try to get a closer look at the creatures..... Ok I can't do this anymore. Liz and I walk up to them and we both grab our partners by the ear and pull them out. "Ow ow ow! Hey! What are you doing!" Morgann pouts. "Saving all the traumatized little kids in there!" Morgann and Patty whine, "But we want to play with the toys!!" Liz and I roll our eyes. "Nope. You two are hanging with us." Liz finishes. I grab Morgann's and we walk through the mall, the four of us.

After a while of shopping, Liz has like five bags and we meet up with Tsubaki and Maka and go out to get some food at El Nepal. (all my Mexican food lovers out there! <3)
Maka got like ten books and Tsubaki didn't get anything. Morgann and I didn't get anything, either. We need the money to get food and pay bills and crap like that. Morgann and I pay for our food and walk our way home.

Morgann's POV

I open the appartment door and walk in. "Caleb! We're home!" no answer. I walk down the hall to his room but the bathroom light is on. Caleb is asleep on the floor. He looks like a mess. Katelyn stands behind me, "I knew something was off." she pats my shoulder. "How long do you think he'll be out?" I ask Katelyn. She looks at me, walking backwards down the hall, "Don't know." I grab my book and sit in the bathroom reading until Caleb wakes up.

It's about and hour later before Caleb begins to shuffle around. He lazily opens his eyes. "Morning, sleepy head." Caleb looks at me, unamused. I close my book and grab a washcloth from the cabnit. I run it under some hot water. Caleb groans and rubs his head. "You're pretty sick, ya know?" Caleb looks at me, "I couldn't tell after throwing up ten pounds of myself." note the sarcasm. I roll my eyes. I kneel beside him and wash his face with the washcloth. His shirt is a mess. I walk out of the room and grab him a clean shirt. He looks up at me and I shake the shirt in my hand. He gets the hint and takes off his shirt.

I can't help but stare. He smirks, "Like what you see?" I turn a bright shade of pink. I throw the clean shirt at his face. I feel the heat leave my face as he redresses himself. Caleb attempts to stand up, but to no avail. He just falls back down on his knees. I let him lean on me so he can make his way. He has his arm around me, which is weird because he's like 5 inches taller than me! I lay him down on his bed and let him sleep.

I walk into the living room and fall face first on the couch. "Uuuuuuuuggggggghhhhhhh..." I sound like a zombie, my voice muffled by the pillow I slammed my face on to. "What's up with you?" Katelyn laughs. I think back and become flustered. Katelyn looks to see me in this flustered state. "Uh oh, what'd you do...?" I just blush more and look off to the corner.

Whyyyyyyy......?
