chapter 2

day one 

Acacia's pov 

Me and the rest of the band spent the past days driving to California where the tour was going to start. Kellin used what my dad left him in the will to get a tour bus. it's not a really fancy or new one but it should get us to where we can and last until we get enough for a better one. 

I noticed I was the only one awake not a big surprise. Anyways, we got here yesterday we took turns driving I only drove 30 minutes compared to the two hours the rest did. Its just one of the perks of having your brother as the singer.

"hey" said Katelyn sitting next to me

"oh hi" I said

"so did kellin tell you the news?" she asked

"yea"

"what do you think?"

"I'm happy I'm going to be an aunt"I said

"well that's good" she said. Then it got quiet because we never did talk. She was nice and all but we just didn't know what we have in common. So it was quite.

"me and Justin broke up months ago. Hes with Lindsey now. Everyone expects me to be jealous but is it bad I'm not? am I doing something wrong?" I said "because I know I should care especially if kellin tries to make me think I should get back with him" I said. why was I saying what was going on. We never did get along or talk besides the usual hello and how are you. Why was i telling her all of this right now?

"Well Kellin was used to you and Justin and he doesn't want to see you two not together considering all you went thought and don't listen to him. I think you know what you want and Justin isn't it. No one should blame you if you're not jealous because if you were jealous people would blame you for being the one who broke up with him. So don't worry you are on tour doing what you want and lets be honest band members are the best looking type of people and you will be surrounded by them. So don't worry about what other people think of you" She said

"Thanks. I'm really glad you came along it would suck if it were just me and Lindsey on tour."

"don't worry if anything happens i'll take your side" she said.

"that's really good to know because I doubt kellin would"

"kellin loves you probably even more than he loves  me. I doubt Justin will come in between you two so don't worry" she said as Lindsey came in the room.

"Justin sent me to tell you to go get the rest of the merch that came in. Do you need help cause ill go?" she offered

"yeah ill need help" I said

"great, should we go right now?" she asked 

"yeah"I said getting up and making my way out

"see you later Katelynne" I said

Me and Lindsey got to place where all the merch boxes were and there were several of other people looking for their bands merch.

"How many boxes are we expecting?" I asked

"erm.....seven" she said. So I walked around looking andI found three small boxes.

"I have to go Justin needs me. ill take the boxes you already found" she said

"yeah sure no problem" I said. And when i found the other boxes I immediately regretted that decision because they were kind of big and seemed heavy. I could drag them but it'll take forever. So I stacked the boxes on each other and began to push them.

"Acacia warped isn't for the weak" said a voice laughing causing me to push the boxes a little harder causing the tower to fall.

"Damn it Oliver" I said "I was doing so good" I added

"Or so you thought" he said winking at me "see you later" he said

"so you're not helping" I asked him in a whisper "I have my own merch" he said picking up a single box and I smacked it out his hands and it hit some guys in the head.

"oh I'm so sorry" I apologized to the guy and he got up rubbing his head.

"its okay no problem" he said. Then he cleared his throat. We stood in silence until he  elbowed Oliver.

"oh...Acacia this is Brendon...Brendon this is Acacia she's doing merch for the band Sleeping with Sirens aka her twin brothers band" he said before walking off.

"I'm brendon" he introduced himself laughing

"yeah I heard" I said...why did I say that it sounded rude can I just hit myself. "sorry for sounding rude...I tend to do that around cute people" I apologized wanting to hit myself...why did I call him cute. I sound so desperate right now

"well....I'm the front man in Panic at the Disco" he said holding his hand out so I shook it.

"well I have to get my merch to the bus so I will see you later" I said

"ill help" he offered

He helped with two boxes and I got the other two. 

 "how much merch is neccessary for warped anyways?"I asked

"Tons" Said Brendon

"But it's our first year I doubt anyone has even hear of us"I explained

"well if it helps i'll help you sell all this" brendon said

"How is that even possible" I asked

"Buying it all..Duh"He said causing me to laugh. I don't really know why I laughed it's just somethimes I have those moments when i'm nervous and almost everything makes me laugh.

"is it fun around here?" I said

"Yeah tons of fun there is this thing at the end called warped prom and I always have a blast" He explained "Oh and during fourth of July stop by my bus we always get tons of fireworks" He explained.

Then we got to my bus.

"well this is my bus...its nothing special" I said

"I don't judge mines isn't all that either" he said 

"Should we put them inside"I asked

"yeah" He said helping me carry them and the bus was empty.

"They proably went out to eat" I said

"arn't you hungry" He asked

"I have a stash of snacks"I eplained

"smart. I should do that" He said putting away the last box and we went outside.

"thanks for helping me see you around" I said

"yeah no problem expect me to drop by your merch table to keep you company" he said making me blush wait why did I blush I had no reason to, can I just hit myself

"okay bye" I said and he walked off. he kept turning as if he wanted to say something but never said anything. ..was he expecting me to say something. Why am I so lost in situations like this?
