Summer After High School (Brendon Urie/ Pete Wentz)

chapter 11

We only set the merch tent up for a few hours and took it down early to get the flowers and brides maid dresses. Me, Katelynne, lindseys sisters and cousins that came were going to be the bridesmaids and out dresses were light green. The band guys, Pete, and Oliver were going to be the groomsmen.

I was responsible for making sure the altar was set up and everything else while the other woman helped Lindsey into get dress. So I went to got meet the preacher and after I told him what to do. So I went to the restroom to freshen up and Brendon came in.

"Its for woman" I said pointing at the door.

"I won't tell if you don't tell" he said locking the door.

"what do you want?" I asked

"I heard you're moving in" he said

"yeah"I replied

"Okay just making sure" he said

"okay well you can leave now" I told him

"can I ask you something?" he said

"sure"I said

"okay close your eyes and count to ten" he instructed . so I did and when I got to eight he told ne to open my eyes

"will you marry me?" he asked on his knees with a ring with a huge diamond

"are you serious?" I asked

"yes why do you think I'm on my knees right now" he explained

"Brendon I can't" I said

"sure you can"

"no I'm with Pete and well I'm late on my period and its not yours because I had it two weeks after you and I did anything"I said

"I don't care ill be there for you"

"if I am its Pete's not yours brendon"

"its not who makes the kid its he who raises him" he said

"brendon I'm declining your proposal"I said walking out.

So I went to the room where the grooms men were and saw Pete fixing his tie.

"hey handsome" I said walking up to him and I straightened his for for him

"you're not supposed to see me...its bad luck"he said

"it only counts for the bride and groom." I explained to him.

"well that explains why my last marriage didn't work out" he said to me.

"hey aren't you suppose to be with the bride" Justin said

"oh yeah right" I said walking out and into the room where Lindsey was

"the wedding is about to start" I heard her mom say so we all made our way to the door where we would walk in when the music started playing while we were getting in the right order. So one by one a bridesmaid would meet half way with a grooms man and walk down the aisle.

Next it was my turn and I met with Pete.

"brendon told me I'm going to be a dad" he whispered to me while I walked with him

"I'm not 100 percent positive" I said as we had to part

For the rest of the time while the preacher talked me and Pete would make awkward eye contact and he would move his lips as if he were talking but I couldn't understand because I was never good at reading lips.

After the wedding we went to the outer part of the Venue where the prom/reception took place. I was sitting alone at a table when Pete joined me.

"Wanna dance?" he asked me

"not really" I replied

"why won't you dance with him"said my mom coming to sit with me

"mom why are you here? I asked

"Justin is like my kid I would not want to miss his big day" she said

"why don't you two dance? " I asked my mom and Pete and they just shrugged and went off to dance

"I go you a test" said Brendon sitting next to me

"why?" I asked.

"well you need one right now" he said handing it to me so I got up and went to the restroom. After a few minutes the test had the results on it but I was afraid to look so I put it in my purse and walked out

"well...what does it say?" brendon asked

"I don't know I'm to scared to check"I replied digging into my purse and giving it to brendon and he just shook his head and we joined the rest of the people.

A slow song came up so me and brendon danced together.

"may I have this dance" said Pete

"yeah"I said and I began dancing with him.

"Pete I don't think I can move in with you"

"why?" he asked

"well because... back home i have everything and everyone....and I'm afraid one day you are going to wake and realize you don't want me anymore and ill be alone no friends or family"

"will you marry me? he asked

"wait what are you serious? " I said

"Acacia will you marry me?" he asked getting on one knee and pulling out a ring

"I'm not pregnant" I said to him not realizing the music stopped playing and every ones attention was on us

"I still want to marry you even if you are not" he said "I want to spend the rest of my life with you he said... I was planning on proposing eventually why do you think I was walking around with this ring I spent so long looking for the perfect ring which is why no one would tell you where I was because not even they knew and I had to be careful because of paparazzi" he said

"shut up Pete. yes I will marry you" I said hugging him and kissing him when he got up off his knee.

everyone awwed us and clapped and then my eyes met brendons and he shook his head and walked out
