Summer After High School (Brendon Urie/ Pete Wentz)

Summer after high school.

"Acacia Quinn" I heard my principal say so I walk across stage and got my diploma and walked off. 

"Kellin Quinn" I heard as I took a seat and I smiled. 

"ready to leave?" my brother whispered as soon as he sat next to me.

"is that even a question?" I responded. 

Me and my brother spent the rest of the ceremony clapping when others clapped and talking to eachother.  

"Are you sure you want to tour with your brother Acacia why not college you have the grades and potential. We always knew you were the successful one" my mom said closing the door to our house. 

"can you at least wait until I'm out of the room to put me down" Kellin yelled at my mom walking to his room. 

" I don't see what I did wrong" my mom said to me "Anyways you're dad would of wanted so much more of you" 

"mom you should be happy me and Kellin are going to be there to watch out for each other. I'm pretty positive dad would want that." I said before going into Kellins room. 

"Katelyn is pregnant" he told me. 

"wait are you serious" I said. 

"why would I lie about this Acacia" 

"so I'm going to be an aunt" I sung until Kellin put is hand over my mouth. 

"shhh...mom will know" he said shushing me

"she's going to have to know eventually kellin" 

"she will after the kid is born" 

"you can't just show up with a kid and be like hey mom I'm a dad" I joked 

"actually yeah I can"he said

"you're kidding, right kell" I said looking at  his "I'm serious" face "well i'll just leave" I said walking out. 

"you don't want to" he said 

"i don't.. why" I asked scared 

"Justin is coming over" he sang. 

"kellin we broke up four months ago get over it I did"I said 

"but how can you throw away four years" he said 

"kellin we just realized we weren't right for each other" 

"no you did..he just went along....to make you happy" 

"really?"I asked 

"yea he told me that...you left him broken Acacia" he said 

"kellin he is my past....okay we were always better off as friends" I said 

"well at least talk to him"kellin said giving me this look that made me feel guilty 

"fine" he said "let me just get ready and prettied up" I said 

"aren't you always"kellin said. 

"oh kellin I love you" I said pouncing on him and kissing him on the cheek until he pushed me off of him and I hit the ground. 

"well...nice to know you love me too kell" I said after clearing my throat. 

when I got to my room I wondered why I ended things with Justin it was great until I got pregnant. He planned on being there for the kid and all I would go in for my check ups and did everything I had to and I lost her. We were going to name her Copeland i stole the name from kellin. Anyways back to the topic. After the miscarriage Justin proposed on stage during one of their shows and I said no and broke up with him. I don't know why I did it. I know I sound witty and all. Oh and the fact I tour with him as the merch girl doesn't help at all but I've wanted to do this and kellin promised I could be the merch girl. 

so I took a shower and curled my hair because its wavy just like kellin. I'm just like a female kellin but then again that's what a twin is supposed to be. Right? 

I took my time deciding what to wear until I realized I wasn't trying to impress anyone. So I settled on a large red plaid shirt, skinny jeans, and some toms. Yea like kellin's. He got it from me by the way. Then I went down stairs and served myself cereal...lucky charms btw. 

when I went to the garage everyone was putting their instruments away.  

"am I late?" I asked 

"big time little sis" kellin responded  

"shanking my head"said Jessie 

"the merch got here today"said Justin 

"that's great"I responded 

"ill give you a ride to get it right now of you want" 

"yeah, that would be nice" I responded. 

once I was in his car Justin drove it was silent until I realized he was going 20 over the speed limit. 

"Justin can you slow down" I said several times getting louder each time until I yelled at him and he hit the brakes.  

"why did you break up with me?"He asked 

"I honestly don't know I guess I was under pressure in front of the crowd.......Have you even thought of moving on?"I asked and he stayed quiet until we arrived at his house.  

There was a car parked outside which I never saw. when I got out I saw a girl  sitting on the front of it  and hugged Justin.  

"i've been waiting"she said. she was tall and slim, she had long black hair, and looked like she gets spray tan and  at that moment my self-esteem dropped. Crap. 

"I'm Lindsey" she introduced and pull me into a hug. Crap. She's nice. Wait I'm not supposed to hate her for being with Justin I broke up with him duh. I should be happy he is moving on. 

I'm acacia their merch girl" I said 

"well me and Lindsey have been hanging out together for a few months now" he said. 

"Yeah were not dating"she said  

"maybe we should" Justin told her 

"Wait is this your way of asking me out?" she said 

"yeah" he replied looking at me. Okay this is awkward. Does he want me to respond to this cause I'm not. 

"yes Justin I would love to be your girlfriend" she said 

"well I hate to break the moment but um I need to get the merch" I apologized 

"its okay I have to go anyways family emergency"she said 

"right" said Justin. So he took me to his room and helped me put the boxes in his car. 

"what do you think of Lindsey"he asked 

"she's nice is she going to join us on tour" 

"probably" 

"it'll be nice to have some one to talk to"I said
