Still 3rd person's POV
She opened her eyes slowly. Her sight was in a blur and the back of her head was still aching. When she can finally see clearly, she realized she was walking with Illumi and Hisoka. "Oh, you're finally awake," Illumi said with his usual emotionless face.
Her body still was moving as if she was being controlled. "I forgot to remove this." Illumi pulled out a pin from the back of her head.
She suddenly fell down but before she hit the ground Illumi caught her. Hisoka glared at Illumi making her feel uncomfortable. "Ehem." She said as she stood up as soon as she regained strength. But she fell again but this time, Hisoka caught her. "What happened?" She asked, almost inaudible. "Y-"
"We don't know. We just found you lying on the ground, unconscious." Hisoka answered before Illumi could say something. Illumi gave him a glare and everything fell into an awkward silence.
(Y/n)'s POV
I refused to watch the last phase of the hunter exam. So, I parted ways and went shopping. Illumi gave me some of his money. I owe him so much.
I'm bothered by everyone looking at me. I do know I look ridiculous. Ragged clothes and walking with bare feet, I look like I'm from nowhere. I bought a black trench coat, a plain shirt, leggings, and heeled boots. I do love black, it's my favorite color. After buying clothes, I checked in a hotel.
I took a warm shower and wore my clothes. Everything fits perfectly and it's so comfy. I jumped to the bed and tightly hugged the fat pillow. I miss this life. After this, I'm going home.
"Psst." I heard. I sat up and raised my guard. "Psst." I looked to where the voice came from. It's coming from the mirror. My reflection was sitting comfortably with a devilish grin. "What?" I glared at it. "They didn't really found you unconscious." It said. "Okay then." I shrugged.
"You don't want to know what happened?" It asked. "Nah." I sighed. It shrugged, losing its grin. "I'm warning you about your self-control." It said for the umpteenth time.
"Tch. What about it?" I rolled my eyes. "It can be the death of you." My stomach suddenly grumbled. "Nah. I almost died and it's because I'm starving." I stand up and head to the door.
"Where are you going?" it asked. "I'm going outside... to eat."
