Hisoka's POV
"(Y/n)." I whispered in her ear. It's amusing how she could stay invisible to everyone other than me. "We're here~" She didn't move which made me raise my eyebrow. "(Y/n)?" I nagged her shoulder but she didn't move nor open her eyes.
I checked her pulse and it's getting weaker. I put her on my back and carried her until I'm in the midst of the island. I lay her down the tree and I suddenly felt nervous. I sat beside her and waited for her to wake up. Hemotropic butterflies came fluttering towards us.
Most of them went to my shoulder while the others went to (Y/n). "Sorry about that." I caressed her wounded cheek. She feels cold. I checked her pulse and it's growing weaker. My eyes widened for a moment.
"H-Hisoka." she stuttered, opening her eyes slowly. "Shhh." I put my index finger on her lips but she held my hand weakly. "Sorry if I was... mean," she said in a weak tone. "And thank you... for getting me out." she smiled.
"What are you talking about?" I asked, trying not to frown. She just chuckled. She stood up and vanished. I look up and saw her sitting on the branch. "Just leave me alone..." she mumbled. I frowned in disappointment. I can't let her die like that, I still haven't seen her on her full potential yet.
I've decided to hunt. Maybe there's someone useful nearby.
(Y/n)'s POV
Hisoka is gone. Finally. I feel sad and annoyed. He left me to die and part of it is my fault.
I blinked a lot until I found a river. I found a kid with spiky hair, green clothes, a backpack, and a fishing rod. I grinned. I can finally have someone to catch food for me.
I showed myself and he jumped a little. "Don't worry. I won't kill you." I said with an assuring smile. I could see that he's still creeped out. I took a deep sigh. Do I even look scary?
"I'm not an applicant, I'm just looking for something to eat." He's finally relieved. "Oh, I thought you were here to steal my tag from me. It's kinda weird since I've never seen you until now."
I chuckled then I looked at the river and saw a lot of fishes. My eyes gleamed with happiness. "Do you have something to eat?" I asked and he nodded. He sat to the ground and searched his bag for something to eat. He nervously smiled as he got some apples out. "Here," he said, handing it to me. "Thank you so much!" My eyes sparkled as I get my hands on my food.
"I owe you big t- wait. What's your name?"
"I'm Gon. Gon Freecss." he beamed me a smile. "Thanks, Gon," I said, ruffling his hair. "No problem!" he smiled. "Be careful of your surroundings Gon. Someone's watching you." I warned and started walking away.
"Wait!" I stopped and turn around. "Yes?" I raised a brow. "H-how did you know that someone's watching me?"
"Strong instincts," I smirked. "O-okay." he stuttered, starting to tremble. I blinked beside him and I kneeled to his level. "Don't worry, I won't let him do anything to you." After that, I returned to the tree. I looked for Hisoka but he's not around.
So... He really did leave.
A/N [3/10/2016]: Summer finally started!!! So any plans for summer? Feel free to share :)
