Hisoka's POV
"This place is so marvelous!" she giggled, spinning around the fountain with glee. "Liking it here?" I asked. "Yep." She replied.
"Common, it's more marvelous in there." "Aye!" She ran beside me and hugged my arm. We walked the stairs towards the restaurant along with the other fancy people.
Tonight there's a special ball in the restaurant. I'm so glad I found a fallen invitation. I handed the receptionist the invitation.
"Welcome Mr. and Mrs. Morou." She nodded and gestured the two bodyguards to let us in.
"Hah." She chuckled. "What?" I smirked as we walked in. "Nothing." She replied, looking away. The place really is fancy. I'll be setting some traps in case.
I felt being watched as we walked through the crowd. I felt (Y/n)'s calm but deadly aura. "Don't worry, I won't let them touch you~" I whispered and she relaxed.
The dinner went fine but it was quiet. "What will you do... if you forget all about me?" She asked all of a sudden. Why is she asking me that question right now? Can one of them erase memories?
In that case... I held out my pinky finger and she interwined it with her finger then I let go. Her eyes widened as she saw a card on her hand. "It's your favourite card!" She gasped.
"Keep it." I smiled as I stood up. "Can I have this dance m'lady?" I asked, stretching my hand to her. "Sure." She replied as a tint of red appeared on her cheek.
She held my hand and we went to the dance floor. We blend in with the other people dancing waltz. "I'm enjoying this classy side of you." She grinned. "I'm enjoying everything about you~"
"I-I'm not enjoyable!!!" She stuttered with a redder face. "Yes, you are." I lift my arm and she spinned. It was so beautiful.
"(Y/n)..." I called out as she was back. "If I'm gonna forget you... It'll be hard to convince me that I ever knew you." I said. "If this'll be the last time... I just want to tell you something." My grip on her was tighter.
I cleared my throat and inhaled. "I just realized it recently and I hate myself for being so slow about it. I love you (Y/n)... I do since day one and I'm pissed every time I see you with another guy. I always tell myself whenever I see you to go ahead and tell but I end up failing instead. Will you be mine?" She looked up to me with a smile.
"Yes, I'm all yours!" She giggled. I swayed her down and leaned towards her but I immediately stopped and catch an incoming dagger towards my head.
(Y/n) stood straight instantly. "Aniki..." she uttered as she saw the guy who attacked me. People raced towards the exit, leaving the four of us. "So, you brought company." I grinned.
"And you're having a date with (Y/n)." He muttered. She walked between us with a clenched fist. "Aniki, I surrender." She said. What?! "Eh?" He grinned.
"Just don't make him forget me." She mumbled. "Unfortunately, that won't do." He shrugged with a sinister smile. The girl hit (Y/n) on her nape and caught her before she fell.
"Guess I'm going babe. See ya later." She said and ran to the door.
Bungee gum, activate.
(Y/n) was drawn to me and I ran towards her and got her in my arms before they could and jumped through the nearest window.
I activated my bungee gum again, making the tables block the window. I noticed (Y/n)'s sinister aura. She must be going out.
She jumped from my arm and ran beside me. "They're here, huh?" She chuckled, looking behind us. "Hisoka." She called out and I just hummed in response. "I don't like you as much as (Y/n) does but you satisfy me at some point." She smiled.
"What are you exactly?" I asked. "Something you shouldn't know." She frowned. I frowned at her words. "Good bye, Hisoka." She stopped running and blocked their way.
I continued running while calling myself stupid. (B/n) appeared a few feet away. I pointed a finger at him but he stepped aside and punched me at the gut.
I tried to move but it seemed that my whole body is frozen. He flipped me over. "It's futile." He said in monotone, looking down at me. He kneeled down and touched my forehead with his cold hand. No.
"You never met (Y/n) while you're taking the Hunter Exam and you'll never ever remember any of the memories you had with her." he said and everything went black.
