I took a shower and wore my outfit of the day. Today is Illumi's arrival and I shall make it up to him since I owe him so much. I went down the building alone for the very first time. I wonder where Hisoka is. I went to the entrance and saw the guy with a long, black hair.
I blinked behind him and hugged him from behind. I pulled away and he turns around with a smile. "Good morning (Y/n)." He said while patting my head. "Good morning Illumi." I beamed. "Common let's eat breakfast," I said then he walked with me.
"How's it going with you and Hisoka?" I lift up my hair, revealing him the hickie that Hisoka left. "Hah." He chuckled. "Don't worry (Y/n), you'll win over him. You just have to be more alert. He's tricky."
"Noted." I nodded. "Want me to help you beat him?"
My eyes widened but then I agreed. After breakfast, we headed to a clearing. Illumi disappeared in front of me. Pins came flying towards me. I dodged each pins without blinking.
He's fast but I can see him. I blinked within his range and throw my dagger at him. He dodged but I caught my dagger. It gave him a chance to throw pins. I blinked in the air and landed above him.
I sat above him and pointed my dagger on his neck. With my free hand, I reached for his forehead. Before I could touch him, he flipped us around, he held my wrist so hard I had to let go of my dagger. His other hand has a pin pursuing to stab my face. I used my free hand to push it away from me.
Illumi is so strong but I'm not an average girl. He grinned when I gritted my teeth. He knows I'm struggling.
I activated my hatsu and smirked. His grip became weaker, freeing myself. "Don't use your hatsu on me." He said. My hatsu deactivated uncontrollably. He must've succeeded on putting a pin on me. I looked at my wrist and there was a pin stabbing on it.
I pushed him away before he could recover strength. I blinked before his pins could land on me. I removed his pin as soon as possible.
Before I could look up, everything went black.
