Mellissa sat up in her bed, in her light purple silk pajamas. Her bed was mounded with elegant, smooth red silk, the sheets and comferters were all silk. Soft, warm, very exensive, all fit for a Queen.
She groaned in annoyance, her maroon, heavy silk curtains were opened. Tied away from eachother allowing the sun to beam directly in her eyes. She squinted, oh how she hated her maids. Always opening them before she awakens. Do they intend to blind me? Must they always mess up... She thought.
There was a small bell resting on her nightstand next to her bed made of pure gold. She picked it up and held it by the woodenhandle and shook it gently. A sweet high pitched ring echoed throughout the enourmous palace's halls.
Mellissa waited in silence before she heard the scuffling feet, of androids hurring.
They came in a single filed line, all female looking and had on a uniform. It was a jump suit and all entirely purple since that was the colour of royalty.
The droids scouted through out her room, some opening drawers and picking out a dress for the day, others organizing her makeup and hair accessories. The rest surrounded her bed, preparing a meal on a silver platter that rested on another tray that was above her legs, a small table.
Mellissa crossed her arms unapprovingly.
"Good morning your Majesty." All the droids said in the room together.
"And good morning to you. I expect higher expectations, next time the curtains closed before I wake up, if I squint to much or have direct sunlight I could get bags under my eyes!" Mellissa complained.
The android preparing her meal responded, "Of course your Majesty, forgive us."
Mellissa nodded, forgivingly. The android had a tray with crépes stacked together neatly. Aside with some strawberry jam spread on some beagals. Then there was a side of fried eggs with small gold shavings springkled over them. Next to the platter was a silver cup filled with tea, with the brim of the cup, you guessed it. Lined with gold.
The andorid set the plat on the trey where another droid set down spoons and forks and then set a napkin over her legs to prevent a mess.
She sighed in relaxation, "Thank you darling."
She picked up a fork and a knife and cut the crepe itnto small bits, as she was cutting them she decided it would be nice for some background noise, "Droid 207 would you be a doll and turn on the latest news?"
The android quickly picked up from her order and turned on a large holoscreen where the news station was already on. On the screen a man, high cheek bones, sleek black hair was sitting in fron of a desk with a port screen in hand detailing the latest news.
Mellissa grabbed her cup and began taking small sips of her tea while keeping her eyes on the screen.
"In latest news, a security camera captures what seems to be a hijacking. As shown in the footage a droid is thrown from a vehicle and in a new frame a new driver is seen in the steering wheel. There were reports of a young female driving later, and causing corruption in the highways. The female is beleived to be Rachel -" Mellissa almost spat out her tea as a picture of Rachel appeared on the screen.
"My god, she's still alive!" She screeched.
"However," The reporter continued, "The whereabouts are unknown. Up next..."
A droid removed her tray as Mellissa sat up and stepped off the bed and slid her feet into some slippers. A droid handed her a robe in which Mellissa quickly put it on.
She took a quick glance in the mirror. She had a symetrical face, peircing eyes, high defined cheek bones, sharp jawline, perfect slim, long nose, petite mouth with pouchie lips, and beautiful wavy auburn hair, she was abviously beautiful.
Mellissa sped walked to the end of her room and pushed open her thick wooden doors and went into the hallways. Her droids followed trying to keep up with the sudden outburst.
"Your majetsty shall i notify the authority to be on high alert?" One droid asked.
"Yes," Rachel said with a nodd.
"And shall I send the troops to the beasty division?" The droid asked.
"Yes, tell them not to stop looking, no matter how much it tears it apart until they find that brat." Mellissa spat.
"Of course your majesty." The droid answered and went off to a different hallway.
Mellissa rolled her eyes, she continued to a corridor and opened some thick doors where military men were sitting at a round table. They all looked up as Mellissa walked in with a scowl on her face.
"I assume you've seen the recent news," said one military man, "We have already sent troops to find the girl."
Mellissa nodded as she took a seat in a purple cusioned, gold lined throne.
"I want her dead, who knows what she's planning." Mellissa said.
The military men nodded, "We'll take that to notice."
Mellissa nodded and shooed them away. She sat alone, in the room only accompanied by her voices.
"News." She ordered.
The holoscreen flicked on and the news continued again. She switched to another station and watched as reporters describes Rachel, Mellissa frowned, she isn't even that beautiful, she isn't close! She cannot take the throne, ugly thing...
There was another photograph taken from a security camera showing Toby in the passenger seat. Mellissa's eyes widened, and her eyes set on his face. High cheek bones, sharp jawline, cold eyes, sleek black hair. A smile tugged across her face, he was beautiful.
"Droid," She ordered.
A droid came in the room and ran to the throne and leaned down on one knee. She looked up, "Your majesty."
Mellissa held the holoscreen and transported it to where it floated in front of the droid. She looked at the screen.
"Identify the man in the passenger seat." Said Mellissa.
A bright blue beam shot out of the retna's of the droids eyes as the beams moved over and scared across he holoscreen beeping when it reached Toby's face.
The beams went away, "My sources tell me the male is Tobias Richards. Age 18."
Mellissa nodded and motioned with her hand the holoscreen to turn back to her, she stared at Toby's face.
"Find him, bring him and the girl to me." Mellissa ordered.
The droid nodded and rushed off out of the room. Mellissa stared at the screen and her heart fluttered everytime she looked at his eyes.
She wondered what it would be like, having him as her husband. Having children together, they would be perfect. She needed him, like a smoker addict craved the taste of a cigarette. The Queen needs a King...
