Getting up, this time, was a drag. You slowly moped out of the bed, as your stomach growling syncopated with every ten steps you take.

Groggily, you run your brush through your matted H/C hair, smoothing it out. You make your way downstairs, slowly but surely. As you take your last step down, your phone rings. You slide it out of your front pocket, rising it to your ear.

"Hello? Is this Y/N L/N?" A familiar voice speaks through. It sounds half panicked, but you don't have the awake mind to take much notice.

"Yes, this is Y/N." You tiredly reply, as you walk down the final stairs and locate the couch, sitting down on it.

"Alright, just making sure you were coming tonight. Thank you, goodbye." You hear a slight click on the other line, and soon the beeping noise told you that he had hung up.

Just making sure you were coming? Why wouldn't you show up to your job? On your first night?

You stand back up, a little more alert this time. Turning on your phone once again, which just dangled aimlessly in your hand now, the time read 7:34 PM.

How are you going to stay up for four and a half more hours?

Then, you got an idea.

Setting up the coffee machine to make eight cups came naturally. You had done it so many times in that past that you were used to it now.

Frying a few eggs wasn't too hard, either, although cooking bacon was a little more complicated. You had saved these breakfast materials for a rainy morning, but tonight would do just fine.

As the machine let out a beep, beep, beep, letting you know the brew was done, you stood up quickly and grabbed a mug, pouring out the black liquid into the cup. Letting out a sigh, you realized that it was going to be a long night, and one coffee would not do.

Arriving at the pizzeria, jittered on coffee, you felt a wave of a weird-like feeling against you, almost as if to ward you away. But, you ignore it and continue in, finding your way to the office you were in earlier today. It felt as if it was yesterday, but it was about 15 hours ago.

Sitting at the desk, a tablet lie discarded, along with the phone blinking for "One new message".

You press play on the machine, and the voice of the man speaks, giving instructions about how to "survive" the night. What you didn't comprehend was that he talked worriedly, as if he was scared. What would be so frightening?

Picking up the tablet, it reveals cameras, positioned at every room. You could see the main stars stationed at the stage, and the rest of the rooms seemingly empty. The one that interested you the most was the one marked as "Pirate Cove", which appeared as a purple curtain. A sign read "Out of order".

You set the tablet back down wearily, as you begin to dose off.

Grr, another short one! Hopefully the next one won't be as short as this one :)
