It's been hours.

You stare at the clock, tapping your finger tips on the coffee table. It read 11:32.

Your heart was pounding, and your head couldn't decide whether you were worried or steaming.

The silence was slowly beginning to devour you whole. It was nerve wracking, just sitting there, helpless.

You knew you would have to get to work soon. You couldn't possibly skip another day. Especially when you've had this job for only two days. And that you haven't even worked a full shift yet.

You run upstairs quickly and change as fast as you can.

The wind is against you tonight, it seems. You had your hat tucked into your arm pit, and your phone in a hand.

You quickly hold it out and turn it on as you hustle down the dark sidewalk. This road had very few streetlamps, spread sparingly.

The time popped up in bold font- 11:43.

You tap on your flashlight and turn your phone back into slumber. It felt a little safer, now that you could see a whole lot better.

Only a few blocks away, Y/N, you tell yourself. You were going to be on time.

The lights of the pizzeria practically blind you as you approach the building. You pat your pocket and grab your key out, hooking your finger tightly around it. Just out of the corner of your eye, you can make out the color of your beloved car.

You approach the door as quickly as possible. You attempt to unlock it, until you accidentally pull it open, realizing the door was left unlocked.

"Hello?" You call emptily into the dark building. The only response is your echo.

You walk a few more feet in, and once again call out. "Foxy?"

You hear a slight grumble behind you. You quickly do an about-face, to meet two bright pink eyes standing out from the darkness, attached to a bunny-like form.

"Hmm, you're back? I'm surprised Foxy let you," the shadowy figure spat out.

"Bonnie," you whisper back.

The shadow just shakes it's head in a yes motion.

"Look, where's Foxy?" You ask him. He visibly rolls his eyes.

"You know exactly where he is."

"No I don't! He came here while I was asleep, and never came back," you say loudly, and then quickly fade into a hush. Your cheeks began to run red, your eyes watering.

Bonnie snickers in response. "Aww, are you gonna cry?"

You grab him by the rim where his head connects to his body. You pull his head down to meet yours. "Look here, rabbit. Foxy is your best friend. Don't bite the hand that feeds you, I'm your only hope in leaving this place. Show me some respect." He nods his head vigorously, and you let go of his collar.

"Now, do you know Foxy is?"

He gives a deep sigh. "In his cove," he said, shaking his head wearily. "The other two wanted to give him a proper goodbye,"

You look at him wide-eyed. "What does that mean?" You say, your eyes searching his face for any hint.

"I don't know, but it can't be good. I didn't want to partake, well, because I'm not that kind of guy. But don't mention it to the gang." He gives you a gentle grin and shoos you off.

You give an open-mouth smile back, and wave as you turn around. "Thanks Bonnie," you call.

~

"Foxy!" You yell as you see the familiar body hidden in the darkness of the purple curtains.
