Okay so the month is October

C a n d i c e :  it's been a few weeks since I talked to denise, but legend and i have damn near been talking every day,  since he's been in my tutoring class, we've been talking alot more and spending alot more time together,  he's made me so happy like every time I see him everything bad that happened earlier melts away. 

" Sup candice" i smiled

" hey legend,  where my baby at?"

" she layin on me sleep"

" aww I miss her"

" you just seen her last weekend when you came over to help me study, and by the way I'm passing all my classes now, so i can finally work on my new music video"

I could tell he was smiling and I was very excited to know what his vision would look like in his new music video.

" it's lit. But have you finally thought of a name you're gonna call yourself when you make it big?"

" you mean if? "

" naa, I said what I meant "

He chuckled " I was thinking just using my last name, jaxon "

" and why is that?" I asked putting the phone on speaker and started braiding my hair for work.

" well I just feel like I should carry my father's legacy of him being a singer   because  I'm not a junior or anything so I just figured I'll call myself that and the way our last name is spelled is dope as fuck. "

" j-a-x-o-n, yeah I like it"

" I know,  anyway you going to work today?"

" you know it"

" can you help me with my history PowerPoint and research paper  when you done?, I'll pick you up "

" yeah, let me just tell my mom."  I replied.

" what time you gotta be home"

" I don't have a cerfew" I spoke as I walked out and sat at my new vanity mirror,  searching for my kae pop lip stain.

" oh bet? , maybe we could chill after"

" I'd like that" I smiled.

" cool, well go make that money so you can take me shopping "

I laughed as we said our goodbyes I grabbed my new bag and walked out my room seeing pascaline sitting at the dinner table.

Although she's my brother girl I don't have to be mean to her,  she's done nothing. 

" hey, pas' " I replied walking past her getting my voss water and my fruit salad.

" hey candice, I know we don't talk much but I'd love to get to know you and we could hang out sometime.. maybe? "

I only smiled. " that sounds good"

Over the past few weeks my brother and I has gotten into so many fights it's been ridiculous,  I finally landed a job at forever 21 in the mall and I haven't really been seeing that much of him lately.

Stopping in my thoughts I walked down the street as the cool October air hit my face.
