I Need To Breathe

(Nessy's P.O.V)
It was morning. I had woken up to be in his arms. My boyfriend. He was still sleeping, so precious. I had gotten up making sure not to wake him. I knew that my parents left for a while to just get away so I had the house to myself. I decided to make breakfast for everyone while they were asleep. As I was almost finished with breakfast I hear someone coming down the stairs. It was my bestfriends boyfriend, Chase. "Hey Nessy, something smells good." "Breakfast, go wake up Mary and bring her down here to eat." "Yaay!!!" He runs upstairs to get Mary. He was always acting like a kid. As everything was on the table I ran upstairs to get Eli so he can eat. On the way I seen Mary and Chase excited to come down and eat. "Hey, we are eating together so if I see anything out of place I will beat both of your butts." "Yes mommy we understand." They both said. So I just let them go downstairs while I went to get Eli. I got to my room and opened the door quietly. I see him sitting on the bed watching TV. I go and sit next to him, he was startled but happy to see him. "Hey handsome, did you sleep well?" "At first yes, but not when I seen that you were gone when I woke up." Aw baby, I was making breakfast. come on lets go eat." I say and I gave him a kiss on the cheek, I grabbed his hand and pulled him off the bed to the kitchen. We reached the kitchen and found Mary and Chase waiting patiently to dig into the food. I chuckled. "dig in." All three of them ran to each plate and grabbed a couple of everything. "Hey leave some for me too." I said making sure they don't take everything.  They all sat down and began eating everything up. It was very funny to see them stuffing there mouths. I grabbed a plate and filled it with what was left and sat down next to Eli. "This is so good thanks." Chase says  while taking another bite of his pancakes. Eli looks at him but then says, "Yeah very good." He says giving me a kiss on  the cheek. "I agree with them Nessy, I haven't had anything this good in like forever." Mary says. "Aww thanks guys." I felt my cheeks turning red. It did taste really good. After we all finished Mary and Chase volunteered to do the dishes while Eli and I go clean up the house. Everyone finished and we all went to the living room to watch some TV. Chase was flipping through channels while me and Eli just sat there. Chase finally stayed on one channel and we all started watching the movie Ghost Rider. While everyone was watching the movie I grabbed Eli's hand and just started to play with it. We stayed there for about forty-five minutes, as we were all watching the movie we hear a knock on the door. I went to get up and get it. I felt everyone's eyes on me. I went to go and open the door to find myself staring at someone. It was my aunt. I haven't seen her in so long and she is here with her husband. "Oh my god Andy, Andrew I haven't seen you guys in so long. I missed you guys." I say giving them both a big hug. "Oh I missed you to sweetie." My aunt says backing out of the hug. "Yeah its been too long." My uncle says. "We heard you were going to graduate soon so we came over here to congratulate you and say we are going to be in a hotel a couple minutes from here so come by any time ok?" "Ok Thanks guys I love you." "We love you to sweetie. call us when you are free I see that your friends are waiting for you." "Yeah I will, bye." I closed the door and went back to my friends on the couch. "Who were they?" All three of them said. "That was my aunt and uncle." After I said that they all nodded and went back to watching the movie. I grabbed Eli's hand again and started to play with it. I looked up and he looked back at me smiling. I loved his smile. He leaned down and kissed me. I kissed back. We backed off and started watching the movie again. I eventually fell asleep on Eli's lap. I fell asleep for about thirty minutes feeling Eli trying to get up and try not to wake me up. "No. Just a couple more minutes please? I'm tired." "Nessy, I was gonna take you to your room." He said placing a kiss on my cheek. "oh, well, carry on." I say. I hear him chuckle and gets up. He picks me and carries me to the room. He places me on the bed and goes to the other side and lays down with me. "Look at my baby, she is so tired. He says trying to hold in a laugh. I go and cuddle with him for about ten minutes and hear a phone ring. I grumbled. "Is that your phone?" I say. Being curious. "Yeah its probably my mom or sister. They have been trying to get a hold of me all day." "Answer them Eli. They must be worried." He rolled his eyes and answered the phone just in time. I can barely hear the people on the other end of the phone but I could hear Eli. "Yeah I am fine. Don't worry about me I am not far from home. I'm staying at someone's house for a couple days. Don't worry I'm ok. I am not going back to the house while she is there. She could have ruined my life and you want me to go back. Just wait a couple days till I can think about this ok? Mom you just don't understand what she has done. I could have lost one of the most important people in my life. She means more to me than just some ordinary person and I love her, I would do anything for her but I'm not gonna lose her because my sister WANTS TO BE A BITCH AND RUIN THINGS. I HAVE HAD NOBODY IN MY LIFE WHO CARED SO MUCH ABOUT ME SINCE DAD DIED AND IM NOT LOSING HER!" He hangs up the phone. He was sitting up on the side of the bed with his hands covering his face. I go up to him but he seem startled. "I'm sorry." I got up and rubbed his shoulders and give him a kiss on the cheek. "It's fine, you don't need to feel sorry about anything." "Nessy you know I meant everything I had said to my mom... Everything was true and I really want them to understand and not have to constantly just tell them over and over." "Don't stress yourself Eli. They will understand but until then just think about me and you, and what makes us happy. Being in this room with you makes me very happy." I say hugging him from behind. "Thanks Nessy, you do know how to make someone's day get brighter." "Thanks love." "Lets lay back down my head is starting to hurt." "Ok." I got to my side of the bed and he layed down on his side. he looked upset that I didn't go up to cuddle him. "Baby... come here, I feel so lonely." He said with a whimper. I gave him a slight chuckle and got close and cuddled up with him. "I want to be like this everyday." I say burying my face into his chest. "I love knowing that. You are everything to me babe, I don't want to let you go." "So don't." "Oh trust me I wont." After that I fell asleep in his arms I fell asleep for about an hour. I was woken up by arguing. I turn and I seen that Eli wasn't there. I got up quickly and almost lost my balance. After I regained my balance I opened the door to the room and fly down the stairs to see what was going on. I see Mary and Chase arguing about who gets to watch TV but there is no sign of Eli. I go to where Mary and Chase were. "Hey have you guys seen Eli?" "Yeah he said he had to go somewhere and that he will be back later tonight." "Did he say where he was going?" "No but he did say if you woke up while he was gone there should be a note on your nightstand." Mary said. "Ok, thanks." I walked away. Why would he leave? Oh well he might have explained it in the note. I walked upstairs to the room and opened the door. There was a note on the nightstand. I closed the door and went over to the nightstand to read it. I opened the note. It read:

Hey Nessy, I'm sorry that I left and didn't wake you up I'm sorry baby please forgive me. I have to go to my moms house for a little while and I don't know how long I will  be. I am going to come back toninght though. I didn't want to wake you because I didn't want you to deal with them and feel out of place. I love you baby I will see you tonight.

Hmm I wonder why he went over there. Oh well. I will just go watch TV with Mary and Chase. I had fallen asleep on the couch, trying to wait for Eli to get here. It was around 12:30 in the afternoon. I woke up late. I got up from the couch and walked to my room to go and take a shower. Chase was in the kitchen trying to find something to eat. He looked up and seen me. He smiled. "What's up sleepy head?" "Nothing much. Sleepy head is gonna turn into a hideous beast if she doesn't go take a shower." He chuckled. "Where is Mary?" "She is upstairs cleaning up the room." "Oh ok, well I will see you guys in a minute." I say walking up the stairs. "See ya." I was in my room and I had forgot about Eli. He still wasn't here. He said he would be back last night. Oh well I'm just gonna take a shower and forget it. I was about to get out the shower when I heard someone come in the room. I couldn't see clearly but I think its Chase. "Hello?" I yell out. "Nessy I needed to ask you something but I thought you were out already I will ask you later." It was Chase. "Its fine you can ask me now I'm already finished." I put on my clothes and hurried outside. "Oh. Ok I wanted to ask you something about Mary." "Yeah sure go ahead come on lets sit." I told him as I sat on the bed. "Ok. I wanted to ask you, why is she, why does she look so depressed. even when I kiss her its like she hates me and it really hurts. I just thought that you would know since you were her bestfriend... help me." He looked hurt. "Chase Mary, has been through a lot ok. She might make you seem low but you mean so much to her ok, you just need to come face to face about this and it wouldn't be right if I told something about her behind her back. What type of friend would I be if I did that..." There was a long pause and then he finally spoke up. "Thanks Nessy, that means a lot to me." He says. He didn't look finished talking yet. "Is there anything else Chase?" "Yes Nessy. I have been keeping a secret from everyone. I don't know how to tell you though." He was hiding something bad. I can feel it. "Just say it Chase." "I I like you Nessy... I always have. And I don't want to like you anymore but it hurts that I kept this in for so long. I didn't want to hold it in anymore. And I wanted to know if what I was feeling was real." Oh my god. This cant be happening. I am not doing this to her. "I cant do that to my friend. And I wont do that to her I am so sorry Chase I really am. You need to get out of here and go be with your girlfriend." I got up from the bed and went to the door. I opened it and waited for him to get out. "I'm sorry Nessy but I hope we can still be friends." "Of course Chase, lets just forget this ever happened." He left out the door and closed it. I had to leave the house for a little bit I cant be in here. I walk out and go to Mary's room. "Hey Mary I am going to go out for a bit if Eli comes over tell him I went out." I walked away before she could say anything. I got into my car and sped off to who knows where. All this stress all I needed was to breathe.
