Chapter 14: Aftermath

As they all headed out of Chen's Noodle House, they all of a sudden stared at Lloyd as if he knew what just happened in there. It got to a point where he just turned to them and said, "What?"

Nya screeched, "YOU HAVE A DATE WITH VIOLET!!!" Lloyd blushed.
Kai sighed, "What a great night for all of us.."
Cole shrugged, "Could've been better." Jay turned to him suspiciously, "How so?" Cole turned silent and gave a glance to Nya.
He shrugged, "No reason.."
Zane suggested, "Maybe it's that girl you danced with tonight?"
Cole then made a nervous laugh, "Oh yeah, yeah. That's totally it!"

Nya just yelled, "I just can't believe the luck Lloyd has. HES GOT A GIRLFRIEND!!!" She couldn't help but squeal again.
Kai covered his ears in annoyance, "You know, your probably a lot more excited then he is."
Jay protected Nya, "Hey, don't talk to my girl like that!"
Nya cleared her throat in embarrassment of her attitude, "Sorry, I DO have to be a little calmer.."
Lloyd questioned but smiled, "A little?"
She sighed, "ALOT."

Lloyd never thought of it the way Nya did. He had a girlfriend. An actual girlfriend! Should he be excited or nervous about this? He wasn't sure but he felt he was on a cloud. Lloyd must have hand hearts for eyes because Kai smirked in front of him. He knew Lloyd was in love, they all knew.

Lloyd was pretty obvious as they entered the bounty. Lloyd was supposed to open the bounty for them but he didn't pay attention.
Jay tried to get Lloyd to listen, "Lloyd..LLOYD."
Lloyd knocked out of his thoughts, "W-what?"
Zane explained, "You were daydreaming."
Lloyd rubbed his shoulder, "Oh, was I?" All of them laughed and went inside the bounty.

Nya offered to make smoothies for everyone since they ate an hour ago. "I've decided to make Green Lime and Blackberry."
Cole had a thought pop into his head, "Hey, that reminds me of Lloyd and Violet!" All of them turned to Lloyd for his reaction. He just blushed and rubbed his head. Nya plucked some blackberries and lime into the smoothie maker.
Jay yelled out, "BLEND EM BABE!" She suddenly stopped the machine and turned to him with one eyebrow up.
Jay backed off, "Continue..heh heh."

When she was done, she set 7 cups of smoothie for all of them. They say down and started to drink it. Cole played with his straw and asked, "So Lloyd, when are you and Violet going on your date?"

"Tomorrow."
Kai grinned, "Well, pretty cool Lloyd." Nya jumped out of her seat and placed her cup into the sink and started to wash it. "Where are you guys gonna go?"
Lloyd finished slurping his drink and set it on the table, "I was planning on taking her to the mega monster amusement park. Then have picnic on a hill."
Nya smiled as she sat back down, "Aww! That's so romantic..except-the mega monster amusement park?"
Zane shrugged, "Whatever Lloyd wants, it's fine with me." They all agreed and drank up their smoothies.

     Violet had dreamy night as well. For the first two songs at Chen's, her mind was not in it. She even sang the wrong words. Violet realized this when some customers where whispering and looking at her funny.
She nervously announced, "Uh, let's take a five minute break. We'll be right back!"

She stepped off stage and felt her head. What was wrong with her? She used to be calm and chill..and cool.

She stepped into the restroom, turned the sink on, and cupped some water and splashed the water on her face. She needed air. Air would be nice. She started to walk to an exit when a hand grabbed her shoulder.

She turned to find it was her boss, Skylor Chen.
Skylor then asked, "Is something wrong, Ms.Stone?"
Violet tried to hide what she was feeling, "Nothing! It really is just fine."
Skylor smirked, "Does it have to deal with Lloyd Garamadon by any chance?"
Violet suddenly laughed, "No! Why would it be about him?"
Skylor crossed her arms, "You're not hiding anything from me, Violet."

Violet sighed and spilled the beans. She told everything from start to finish, even before her encounter with Lloyd. Skylor was understanding and a good listener.
Violet started to finish, "So you see I feel..strange about a guy actually liking me."
Skylor smiled and nodded, "I get how you feel."
Violet was shocked, "You do? But, you're are...and with the red ninja! How could-."
Skylor giggled, "Girls go through the same tutorials of love. We're more alike then you think."

"But you're GORGEOUS and I'm-."
"Beautiful? Yes."
Skylor then became serious, "Our fathers were no fathers at all. My father was pure evil and I blindly followed him even though I knew he was wrong. He manipulated me and even took my elemental power away so he can have it for himself.."

Violet felt so bad, "I'm so sorry. I-I didn't know."
Skylor smiled, "It's fine. I don't tell a lot of people.."
"Same with me.."
They both laughed at their misfortune.
Skylor continued to Violet, "Anyway, don't let what he did hurt you and Lloyd's relationship. You're wonderful."
Violet smiled and put her hands together, "Thanks boss."
Skylor grinned, "I'm not just your boss, I'm also your friend. Call me Skylor."

After that heart warming conversation with her boss, Violet felt better about herself and her thing with Lloyd.
