Chapter 12: Chen's House of Love part 1

Hey guys so I've decided to split this chapter into two parts because it's really long. Hope you enjoy!
Cole: This is gonna be good!*lounges with popcorn*
*All of them copy Cole and then they stare intently at me*
Me: O-O Ok then let's get started..

Brandon had left and the team headed over to Chen's to take in some noodle goodness, not knowing what damsel was just behind the door. The ninja and Nya were a bit dolled up but still in their ordinary clothing, as if this place were fancy. They all stood at the door of the restaurant.

Lloyd put his hand on the handle, but did not for some reason twist it.
Zane questioned, "What's the matter?"
Lloyd shrugged still looking at the knob, "I don't know. I just have this weird feeling.."
Kai gave a laugh, "Come on, Lloyd. There is nothing in here to be nervous about."
Lloyd took in a deep breath and gripped the knob and opened the door.

He looked to his left to find his heart stop a millisecond. Violet turned towards him as well, though on a stage and in a way wide eyed in amazement with his appearance here at Chen's. Lloyd was also fond of what he was seeing. Violet wore a long and glittered dark purple dress that shimmers in the night. She was even on stage, singing! He could not believe it.

The others saw to. But they turned to Lloyd's reaction, who was still fixated on Violet.
By looking at this, Jay then said, "There might be one SLIGHT problem."

The ninja and Nya had gotten a booth and looked at the menus for deciding what food to get. The green ninja many times peeked towards Violet who was still singing on stage behind his menu..-what? He couldn't help it.

Nya could not sit still. "Oh my gosh, so THATS Violet!"
Lloyd felt a bit embarrassed, "Yeah.."
Zane nudged him, "Not too shabby, Lloyd." He had what he could stand from the temptation of Violet. Lloyd suddenly got up and walked towards Violet and sat in one of the chairs by the stage.
As doing so Jay called out after him, "You didn't even order yet!"

Cole's stomach rumbled, "Man, everything looks so darn good!"
Nya smiled, "All say!"
Then a familiar friend walk over and sweetly introduced to them, "Hello ninja. My name is Skylor and I'll will be your server this evening. What would you all like to start with?" Kai, looking up from being buried in the menu asked, shocked, "Skylor?"
Skylor giggled, "Hello, Kai."

Kai turned all of his attention to her, "How have you been?" He then looked around now seeing the whole area. "You really did a good job with the place."
Skylor took the compliment, "Why thank you. Ever since my father was cursed into the cursed realm, I actually thought of what to do to change the place..and make it better."

Ruining their romantic moment, Jay angrily said, "I'd like to have the coke-the good kind. Also please cut your chit chat and get it moving, will ya?"
Nya smacked her "date" in the face and apologized to Skylor. "Sorry about my PAL HERE. He has many issues he needs to work on." Nya scowled at him  and Jay just shrugged.

Skylor insisted, "It's very alright, I deal with worse than that around here so-."
Kai startled, "What?! Who would ever do that to a girl like you?! Your..your..",
Kai got a bit nervous, "Uh, is it getting hot in here?"
Skylor smiled, "Your hair is smoking."
Kai was charmed, "Why thanks, all I did was-."
Skylor stopped him, "No, I'm serious."
Cole freaked. "KAI YOUR HEAD IS ON FIRE!"
Kai frazzled, "WHAT?!"

    Dismissing the screaming of Kai over by their booth, Lloyd stared off at Violet. There was a flicker in her eyes he could not stop looking at. He didn't know why but he just couldn't.

She was a bit nervous that Lloyd was just sitting there and watching her preform. It made her very uncomfortable and very hard for her to get away from. As she sang, she saw a awkward scenario of a ninja in red's head making black smoke and other ninjas trying to extinguish it. But she had no time to keep looking at that. She needed to finish her song..and get away from the maybe love of her life.

When the song ended and backround music played while conversations filled the air, Violet jumped off the stage and started towards the other the direction but somehow bumped into the green ninja-again.
Lloyd shyly smiled at her and said, "Hey."
Violet calmed, "Fancy seeing you here."
Lloyd said back, "You too. Great voice by the way."
Violet blushed a little bit not meaning to, "Oh that.."
Lloyd shook his head, "You were great! When did you start doing that?"
Violet awkwardly straightened  her dress, "Around one to two years ago." Lloyd asked, "How come I have never seen you here before?"
She explained, "I run the Karaoke nights."
Lloyd rubbed his head, "Ah.."

From the other side of the room, the others looked towards the cuteness between the two.
"Wow. Way to go Lloyd. He actually talked to her.", Kai said.
Jay was a bit surprised to, "Yeah, I see a spark between them..just like-."
Nya held up her hand, "Slow down, Jay." Feeling bad, she hugged him and Jay made one of his happy laughs.

Cole just sighed in a low groan and looked at his menu for something to eat.
Kai raised an eyebrow at him, "What's that for?"
Cole looked up, "What's what for?"
Kai then started to laugh, "Wait, are you jealous of LLOYD?"

Cole got a bit defensive, "What?! No! Why would I be jealous of Lloyd?"
Zane remarked, "Because he got the girl you always wanted."
Cole suddenly looked down and said, "I'm not jealous of Lloyd it's just..I never really made amends with Violet. I left without saying anything..and I feel like a fool." Jay laughed hard and loud and Kai shoved him.
Nya also hugged Cole, "She'll forgive you and I think she already has." Cole stared at the Lloyd and Violet. "Yeah.."

Lloyd coughed in nervousness and then said, "So you can sing, what else can you do?" Violet decided to let her guard down, just a little bit.
She put her hands behind her back and spoke, "I can also dance a little. I have a number coming up soon, maybe you can watch it?"
Lloyd showed his teeth, "Yeah, I'd like that."
Violet excused herself, "I'm going to go get a drink." Lloyd stared off at her as she left and smiled to himself. He then decided to go back and see his friends.

"Hey guys."
Nya playfully pushed Lloyd, "You are being so charming out there."
Lloyd messed with his hair. "Heh heh.."
Jay took a sip from his cola, "This is so good for you. Finally a girl in your life..anyway what is she doing now?"
Lloyd answered, "Getting a drink and then later she is going to show me her dance number."
Kai was happy for Lloyd, "Well that's great. What else did you guys talk about?"

Nya seemed weirded out, "Why do you wanna find out his information?"
Kai turned to his sister,
"I was just asking-."
Nya crossed her arms, "You are asking something private. If he wants to tell you, he'll tell you."
He rolled his eyes at Nya, "Fine.." Lloyd still answered Kai's question, "All we talked about was when she began doing Karaoke nights here."
Kai just said, "Cool" still annoyed at his sibling.

Cole asked Nya and Jay to scoot out of the booth so he could get out, "I'll be right back." He then disappeared into the crowd.
Zane then asked, "Where is he going?"
Jay said, "I don't know." Lloyd then sat next to Nya since Cole wasn't there and talked to the group.

Cole: To get a drink..
Jay: There's a glass of water right-.
Cole: I want Coke!
Jay: You can have my coke *holds up glass*
Cole: *grossed out* Wow, not the least bit sanitary.
