Woke to hearing loud beating..Sat up to see Bofur striking the top of one of the coffins. Got up and went to see the progress of opening of the coffin...witnessed there was no dent or chips off the stone coffin.
"That won't work." I said as I put my hand on Bofur's arm to have him stop pounding. He stepped down off the coffin in defeat..Where he stood on the coffin, found there was a slit, just like the one in the door of the tomb..Looked at the other two and found the same thing.
"What are ye thinking Las?" Balin asked as I went from coffin to coffin before going to gather my sword of 'Life'. Went back to the first coffin. All the dwarves stood around the coffin.
"It's worth a try." I said as I took the sword and inserted it into the slit on top of the coffin..
"Here goes nothing." I said..but nothing happened..The sword didn't turn on it's own as it had on the door of the tomb.
"Well." I said as I pulled my sword out.
I scratched my head..
"Did these coffins not have their own swords, I mean your kin?" I asked as Nori went and got Fili's sword and about to hand it to me.
"No, you do it." I said not taking the sword as Nori shook his head no.
"Ok baby." Give me the sword." I said as I wiped off the cobwebs and dust before unsheathing the sword. Inserted the sword into the slit...It clicked..and only that and nothing else..
Noticed there was wiggle room where the blade of the sword was inserted...
Just a guess, I thought as I took my sword and inserted it as well..This time both swords turned at the same time and on their own..Lid began to move..
All eyes except mine looked away from the wrapped body that was wrapped in dark colored cloth with Family crest printed on it.
"Poor lad,we are sorry Fili." Balin said as he was the first to look upon the body.

We did the other coffin the same as the first..And yes there were air coming from them, but nothing worked.
"Ok you said one is your 'King'? "Did anyone not think of building a escape route if your king wasn't really dead?"I asked as I remembered playing 'Tomb Raider' where Lora Croft escaped a tomb through a 'King's' tomb.
