Her Redemption

"Go Home."

Dr.Holden was beside himself, couldn't understand why Reign was back to her coma state and has been almost two weeks.

"I don't understand it..This time it is different with Mrs.Davis." Every now and then she mumbles some odd language." Nurse Susan said as she stood back and let Dr.Holden take the girl's vitals..Her pulse was a bit fast..

Something was exciting her...where ever she was in her mind.

End of third week coma state..

Woke suddenly..vision blurred slightly,,could be from the massif headache

Once again I wondered where I was for a moment...till my eyes fell to the good doctor curled up and asleep in the most uncomfortable chair in this god forsaking world....His doctor coat rolled up for a made shift pillow..

Cell phone in the floor on silent ring,,having a caller calling now.

Pushed the nurse call button..I dearly needed something for my headache..

Nurse Gina entered.

She was another not from this country..Same accent as the good dr.Holden..

She glanced at Dr.Holden and shook her head before turning her attention bck to me.

"Glad to see you awake once more." Nurse Gina said as she whispered as to not wake Dr.Holden.

"I need something for a headache and some of your good coffee..Might want to bring him something as well, looks painful on how he is sleeping.." I said as she looked back at Dr.Holden as smiled..

"Good idea." She said.

"How long has he been sleeping there?" Oh and his cell phone has been going off for sometime now." I said as nurse Gina picked up the phone and placed it on the table beside Dr.Holden.

"Dr. Holden has been here, good 6 hours, well since you showed signs of waking up." I'll go grab you something for your head, can't give you the good stuff, Dr.Holden is afraid you will relapse."Nurse Gina said as she saw the phone going off once again.

"That will more than likely be his wife calling, he is so going to be bitched out for not answering his calls." She said before leaving the room.

Sat up in bed and waited for the nurse to come back..Watched as Dr.Holden slept.

Such an odd men..Does he keep after hours with all of his patients..

Handsome in his foreigner way..I suppose..Never was one for a guy with facial hair..or for a guy with a golden band on his finger..Regardless he was off limits...my rule.

Dr.Holden shifts in his sleep..

I've seen him before,..maybe a dream..But I'm sure he had a fuller beard...and if not mistaken..long hair..And Nurse Gina as well, seen her.

"Here you go, coffee & pills." Nurse Gina said coming in and handing my black coffee to me..Saw the pills and waved them off.

"I'll put them over here if you want them later..Are you alright Reign?" She asked as I looked at her strangely.

"Earlier you said I showed signs of waking up...What did you mean by that?" I asked before taking a drink out of Gina's personal coffee cup that had her name on it.

"You have been asleep for nearly three weeks, no true signs of being in coma." You have all the doctors baffled..Even did EKG on you and normal brain waves as if being awake.." You have done that twice now, Reign you have been here for almost 2 months." Nurse Gina said.

"Even high, I don't recall doing that..yet you say nothing is wrong." I said.

"Nothing." She agreed.
