"Heo Eun Kyung..?"
Yoon Ji frowned at Yoona. Yoona looked at Yoon Ji and gave a sad smile.
"It's our ancestor's fault that the brothers are suffering emotionally."
Yoon Ji looked at Yoona and frowned. "But... The Lee brothers..."
"... They are the same. Tae Guk is Lee Tae Min. Jeong Eun is Lee Tae Joon. And they have been like that because of a curse casted upon them, well, that's what Heo Eun Kyung said in her diary."
"But how did--"
"-- She found out from the shaman herself, the shaman named Shim Ha Neul."
Yoona held her blue notebook and opened it. She read a part of the diary out loud.
"5 nights and 6 days have passed since the royal family suddenly vanished. I met a very frail-looking shaman, and she was very unkempt. There were bruises on her arms and face. She slowly walked towards me but I did not cower. I held her hand and conversed with her. She said she is the one responsible for the downfall of the royal family. But I do not believe her. It was my fault that His Highness Prince Jeong Eun changed. But she said, it was a curse named vampyr curse that fell on them and that she casted it on them. Now she is searching for the royal family to aid them because she felt responsible. I wanted to help her, but my family stopped me." Yoona paused and sighed. "Well... Our ancestor is pretty stupid." Yoona added. Yoon Ji's eyes widened. "Vampyr??? Wait..."
"Yes. Vampyr. Or in modern term... Vampires." Yoona said. Yoon Ji suddenly let out a laugh and shook her head.
"Joseon era, and now vampires? Okay. I change my mind. I don't have all the time. I think I'm going to sleep now. You're oriented around the condo so feel at home." Yoon Ji immediately stood up, and, while holding the blue notebook, she went up the stairs and went in to her room. Yoona looked up and shook her head.
"Well, I've done my part. Do yours now, Yoo Hwa." Yoona said as she scrambled up from her seat and grabbed her bags to the guest room.
After taking a quick bath, Yoon Ji flicked on the bedside lamp. She glanced at the clock and sighed.
"I never thought that the day would come that I'd still be up at 3am." She glanced at the blue notebook placed on the bedside table. She reluctantly took the notebook and stared at the cover. The name "Hwang Yoo Hwa" was written in hangul with a black marker across the cover. She stared at it for a while as she lay on the bed. She covered herself with the thick comforter, and finally decided to read the first part.
"Today is the start of spring time. I have just turned 18 years old, and this diary was a gift given by my brother, Hwang Dae Jung. He is a very wonderful brother and cares for me a lot. My parents gave me new pieces of jewelry and clothing. But I don't care about material things, I am happy as long as they are always with me."
Yoon Ji smiled at Hwang Yoo Hwa's simple life. She, then, turned to the next page.
"Today I helped my mother in picking fresh peaches from the nearby peach tree. They all smell nice. My mother went back home first because of her aching back. As I was picking some peaches, I heard two men walking nearby. I was told by my father and brother to hide from men if ever I am alone, so I ran towards another peach tree and hid myself from behind. But as I looked at the two men, they were not scary at all. In fact, they were very good-looking. I heard the other man's name was Tae Guk, and if I remember correctly, it is the name of one of the Royal Princes. But why are they outside? I wonder. But I hope to see him again. This time, I will not be afraid."
