The Truth

Yoon Ji stepped backwards and shook her head. Deep down, she knew what they were going to say.

But she wasn't ready yet.

She picked up her bag, grabbed her car keys and opened the door to the car. Tae Min and Tae Joon looked at Yoon Ji with a serious expression. Yoona released Tae Joon's hand and followed Yoon Ji.

"Hey--"

"-- This is my graduation day. I am not in for this kind of things. Just... Not now, please." She glanced at Tae Min who was standing beside the door and looked at her with a worried face. Yoon Ji brought the windows down and turned away.

"I am fine. But please... Not now Lee Tae Min." She said as she started the car.

Tae Min sighed while Tae Joon scratched his head as they watched the car moved away from them. Tae Joon looked at Tae Min as Tae Min stared at the car.

It's still not safe. Tae Joon said through his mind

Yeah. He will still target those two. Tae Min replied.

And in a split second, the two brothers vanished from thin air.

Yoon Ji parked in front of the condominium. She took few breaths before she bowed her head. Yoona stared at her and scratched her head.

"We.. We'll just order something to eat." Yoon Ji said as she opened the door while Yoona followed.

They were quiet as they walked along the lobby of the condominium. As they entered the elevator, Yoona finally broke the silence.

"You know... It will come out eventually."

Yoon Ji turned to Yoona with a questioning look.

"I mean... The truth... About them."

Yoon Ji shook her head and turned away.

"Well. I am most definitely not ready for that."

"Why not?"

Yoon Ji sighed and looked up at the changing numbers on the elevator.

"Because I am not ready to know the truth about myself. Whatever they say will also be reflected to who I really am. I mean... I am just... Kim Yoon Ji... Right?" She turned to Yoona with tearful eyes. Yoona nodded and smiled.

"Of course, you are, and always will be Kim Yoon Ji. And I am Hwang Yoo Na." Yoona placed a hand on Yoon Ji's shoulder.

"It'll be okay. We'll be alright."

Yoon Ji nodded. As they reached the condo unit, she felt a strange feeling. They both stopped in front of the door. They looked at each other.

"Am I just being paranoid..?" Yoon Ji said.

"I... I don't know." Yoona replied.

Yoon Ji and Yoona entered the unit. And as they walked towards the living area...

She suddenly felt dizzy. The room was spinning. She tried to look at Yoona but she already fell to the floor.

"Yoo... Na..."

Yoon Ji struggled to stand and grabbed hold on to the leather chair. She glanced around and saw a man in black leather jacket, with a black cap and face mask, looking at them as he sat in the dining chair.

"You..."

The man stood up and walked towards her. Yoon Ji tried to run away but her knees gave up and she stumbled to the ground.

She could see the footsteps of the man coming closer.

"... Tae Min..."

Tae Min and Tae Joon appeared in front of Yoon Ji's condo unit. Tae Min knew something was wrong so he wrecked the door open and walked straight to the living room.

Tae Joon also looked around the unit.

No one was inside.

"But Yoon Ji's car was..."

"Shit. Look at this." Tae Joon interrupted Tae Min as he grabbed a note in the dining table.

"Tae Min. Tae Joon. Or Jeong Eun and Tae Guk. If you want the two ladies. Just follow this map. Hurry before your time expires. You have only until 2100H." Tae Joon took the map placed on the table and looked at Tae Min.

"2100H. 9pm... But it's 7pm already." Tae Min said.

"Shit. We were late." The two brothers then, ran towards the balcony and jumped and vanished into thin air.

Yoon Ji slowly opened her eyes. She slowlt glanced around and saw that her hand was tied in a tree. She look to her side and saw Yoona still unconscious.

"Yoo... Yoona." Yoona's hands were also tied. Both of them were tied around the tree.

They were in an open field. As she looked to her side, three black pick-up trucks are parked. And a man in black emerged from one of the trucks.

He was wearing a mask whch looked like from The Scream movie. He crouched in front of Yoon Ji as Yoon Ji glared at the man in black and mask.

"Who.. Who are you? And... What do you want?"

The man in mask chuckled and shook his head.

"I just wanted the Royal Family to die. And with you two, it is possible. After all... You both are also connected to the Joseon Era. Hwang Yoo Hwa, and Heo Eun Kyung."

Yoon Ji's eyes widened and felt Yoona stirred up.

"Ah she's awake now as well..." the man was about to reach his hand to Yoona's hair when he suddenly stumbled backwards. Yoon Ji's eyes widened as, out of nowhere, Tae Joon appeared, with red pupils, and glowing white skin. He bared his teeth, showing two long canine teeth. In a split second, he jumped on to the man in black but suddenly, gunshots fired at him. Yoona screamed and Yoon Ji's eyes widened.

"TAE JOON!!!" Yoona exclaimed.

Tae Min suddenly appeared out of nowhere, his puils were red as well. But he went to Yoon Ji and Yoona and in just one pull of his hand, the ropes that bind the ladies to the tree loosened up. Tae Min grabbed Yoon Ji and Yoona's arm and in a split second, they found themselves on the side of the road.

Yoona and Yoon Ji stumbled on the floor but Yoona stood up and grabbed Tae Min.

"T.. Tae Joon... Please--"

"--Yes. I will be back." And in a split second, Tae Min vanished.

Yoon Ji just knelt to the ground, too weak to stand, while Yoona sat on the ground.

Tears fell from Yoon Ji's eyes as she saw Yoona cry.

"I... I did not want this..." Yoona said. Yoon Ji reached out her hand to Yoona's shoulder and silently cried as well.

"... Me too."
