"Is it.. This one? Or this one?"
Yoon Ji stood in front of Yoona with two dresses on her hands.
"Hmmm. I think the white one is better." Yoona pointed out to the white lace dress on Yoon Ji's hand.
"You wouldn't want to wear a black dress on your graduation day right?" Yoona added. Yoon Ji nodded and tossed away the black dress.
"But what about your hair and makeup? Aren't you going to the salon?" Yoona asked while reading a fashion magazine. Yoon Ji rolled her eyes and sighed.
"But I can do my own makeup..."
Yoona dropped the magazine and raised an eyebrow at Yoon Ji.
"Seriously... You're like... the richest student in the Uni... and you're not spending for at least 3 bucks? Come on. The magna cum laude needs to look good." Yoona stood up and took Yoon Ji by the arm. Despite Yoon Ji's protests, Yoona took Yoon Ji's wallet and drove to a nerby salon.
"Plus... The Lee brothers will be there. Their father will make the speech and the brothers are honorary members of the Alumni Association of the University. You need to look beautiful." Yoona said as she sat beside Yoon Ji while Yoon Ji was having her makeup, manicure, and pedicure done. Yoon Ji raised an eyebrow and looked sideways to Yoona.
"But aren't you going to fix yourself too? Lee Tae Joon will be there." Yoona scoffed and raised her chin up.
"Hah. I don't need to do that. I believe in Au naturale. He will still like me because I will make lots of efforts."
Yoon Ji laughed along with Yoona.
"But seriously. Have your makeup and hair done. Now." Yoon Ji said as she motioned another stylist to fix Yoona.
2 hours had passed, Yoona and Yoon Ji now drove to Yoon Ji's University. The University's huge auditorium was already full of students wearing their toga. Flowers are everywhere, and proud parents swarmed around with their sons and daughters. Yoon Ji could not help but feel out of place. Yoona felt Yoon Ji's sadness which was why she suddenly hugged Yoon Ji.
"Hey. With or without your parents, your paternal grandparents are proud of you. They're just too old for this. And I am here! I don't want to see the magna cum laude frowning. Okay?" Yoona gave Yoon Ji the warmest smile which made Yoon Ji's eyes filled with unshed tears. Yoona suddenly looked behind Yoon Ji, and as she turned around, she saw Lee Tae Min wearing a dark blue-colored coat and tie while he was holding a bouquet of red and white roses. Yoona giggled while Yoon Ji stared at him as he made his way to them. Tae Min reached out the bouquet of flowers to Yoon Ji and smiled.
"Congratulations Miss Magna Cum Laude. I think my company needs an awesome interior designer like you."
Yoon Ji took the bouquet of flowers and bowed.
"Company? You have another business aside from Black Riddle?"
"Yes, I'm actually the CEO of LTM&Co. The ones who design and build infrastructures in South Korea."
Yoon Ji's mouth fell open while Yoona's eyes widened.
"Yeah... maybe Yoon Ji needs to work with you..." Yoona said
"Ah but you already have a business right?" Tae Min asked Yoon Ji but Yoon Ji shook her head.
"It's a joint work between me and my grandparents from my father. So it's not entirely mine. And I'd like to use my skills more as an interior designer. But I'll think about your offer." Yoon Ji smiled which made Tae Min smile as well. Yoona looked around and found what she was looking for. She excused herself and walked to Lee Tae Joon. He looked around and as he saw Yoona, his eyes widened and started to walk away, but Yoona walked faster and was able to catch up with Tae Joon. She grabbed on to Tae Joon's arm which made him turn to Yoona. Yoona gave him a warm smile while Tae Joon just kept his flat affect.
"Aish, you're being so hard-to-get. Sooo not cool." Yoona said. Tae Joon brushed off his arm from Yoona and rolled his eyes.
"Look. You don't have to do what was written in that letter. Do me a favor and just stay away from me." He said without looking at Yoona. But Yoona held his shoulders and made Tae Joon turn to her, now they are both making eye contact with each other.
"Say that again when you look at me in the eye." Yoona said with a serious expression. Tae Joon sighed and bowed his head.
"You're exasperating." He murmured. He then looked up again and looked straight in Yoona's eyes.
"I said... You don't have to do what was written in that letter. Do me a favor and just stay away--"
"--no."
Tae Joon could not hide his surprised look with Yoona's rejection.
"First. I am not following any order from any letter. In fact, I haven't read that letter yet for your information... Second... I am doing what I want. I want you Lee Tae Joon. Not because of your wealth. But I feel like I don't ever want to let you go. This is not about Heo Eun Kyung. Jeez, I haven't even called you Jeong Eun for pete's sake. Whatever I am doing, I am doing it as Hwang Yoo Na, smitten over Lee Tae Joon." She said as she still held onto Tae Joon's shoulders. Yoona, then, realized that there were many students around them, which made her let go of Tae Joon, but as she started to turn her back, Tae Joon grabbed her hand and dragged her along with him. Yoona could not suppress her shock as her hand was held by Tae Joon, but then, Tae Joon's facial expression remained flat.
"Where--"
"--to where Kim Yoon Ji and my brother is. I am giving you back to them. You look like a lost child who's about to look for her parents, so I'm taking you to them myself. Don't think too much about this."
Yoona could not help but grin from ear to ear while they walked straight to Yoon Ji who was already starting to get her seat.
"Here's your cousin. And congratulations Kim Yoon Ji." Tae Joon gave Yoon Ji a formal smile as he lets go of Yoona's hand to shake Yoon Ji's hand.
"Tha... Thank you Lee Tae Joon-ssi." She nodded as she shook his hand.
"So I guess I'm off to where Tae Min is seated now. Guests are seated at the back Hwang Yoona, you're not a graduate." Tae Joon said as he walked away. Yoona's eyes widened and chuckled over Tae Joon's remark. Yoon Ji stared at Yoona and smiled.
"Yah, are you and--" Before Yoon Ji could finish, Yoona shook her head.
"He's hard to get. But we'll get there. So I'll take my seat now." Yoona smiled as she walked away.
On the other side, Lee Dae Seong, father of the Lee Brothers, also known as King Hwan Jeong, went down from his car. He fixed his coat and accidentally bumped into a man in his toga. The young man turned to Lee Dae Seong but as Dae Seong was about to apologize, he looked at the young man's face, while the young man just stared at him with a flat affect. Dae Seong's voice got caught in his throat and stared at the man. The young man smirked and reached out his hand.
"Mr. Lee Dae Seong, right? I am Park Jae Sung." Dae Seong just stared at the young man while Jae Sung smiled. Jae Sung brought down his hand and looked at Dae Seong with a serious look.
"I am here for my graduation. Not to mess around." Jae Sung took one step forward and smirked.
"But mark this day as the beginning... Your Highness Hwan Jeong." Jae Sung turned around and walked towards the auditorium, leaving a shocked Lee Dae Seong.
"... Jun Seong..."
