The Supernatural

Yoon Ji and Jae Sung entered the room 4 minutes before their professor arrived. It was their last physics class because their graduation is near. They both took their final exams and went straight to the garden cafeteria of the university.

"Yoon Ji... I have a question."

"Hmm?" Yoon Ji raised her eyebrows as they both walked towards the stone pathway to the cafeteria.

"... Do you believe in the supernatural?"

Yoon Ji slowed down on her tracks while Jae Sung went 2 steps ahead. He turned around to look at Yoon Ji who suddenly looked serious.

"Supernatural huh..? I... I don't know. Why did you ask?"

Jae Sung smiled and shrugged.

"Nah. Just a curious question. I've been interested with the supernatural topic you see..." He said as they now both walked towards the glass door of the cafeteria.

"What made you interested with the topic?" Yoon Ji asked. They now both entered the cafeteria. Since it was already 12 noon, the place was filled with students from the university.

"Well... This and that..." Jae Sung said nonchalantly as they both took their trays and took their sandwiches and juice. While Yoon Ji bought a cup of coffee. They both sat at the garden outside the cafeteria.

"You see... it was my ancestors who have been interested with the supernatural ones." Jae Sung said as they sat on the black metal chair.

"Your ancestors?" Yoon Ji looked up and asked as she unwrapped her sandwich. Jae Sung nodded while he also unwrapped his sandwich.

"Yep. They believed in the supernatural ones... especially vampires."

Yoon Ji's hand stopped from unwrapping the sandwich as she heard the word "vampire". As she was about to speak, she got distracted when a black crow landed on the rose bush in front of them. Her brows raised while Jae Sung looked at the crow and smirked.

"What's a crow doing here in this time of the day..?" Yoon Ji asked as she stared at the crow

"Dunno... guarding perhaps..." Jae Sung said in a low voice and stared at the crow.

Yoona arrived at K. Medical Center at exactly 1pm. She greeted the nursing director Park Seon Hee and went straight to the changing room. Yoona actually worked as an emergency room nurse in the hospital but Yoona had to go to America for her family.

"Yoona-ya!!"

Yoona walked inside the emergency room with a smile and greeted the nurse who called her.

"It's been a while Sooyoung!" Yoona briefly hugged the woman named Soo Young.

"Now let's work!" Yoona added as they now both entered the critical area.

Right as she entered, a man whose face was covered in blood came in via stretcher along with the middle-aged male ER doctor.

"Start an IV line, run a plain NSS quick, Yoona, do it." The doctor said as he asked another nurse to get minor suture sets. Yoona quickly took an IV Insertion set and prepped up the patient's hand while the other nurse named Sooyoung, hooked the patient to the cardiac monitor and checked the patient's vital signs.

"His blood pressure is 100/60, the rest are unremarkable doctor." Sooyoung said.

"Good. Is there someone with the patient??" The doctor asked as they all prepared the minor surgery set.

"It's me."

Yoona almost stopped as she heard the voice. She quickly looked up and saw Lee Tae Joon in a messed-up coat and tie. Lee Tae Joon looked at her but Yoona turned back to the patient, and in a swift move, she was able to insert an IV line. She fixed the tubings of the IV Fluid and hurried to the doctor as he and another nurse prepared. The doctor looked at Tae Joon and his eyes widened.
