Yoon Ji slowly opened her eyes as sunlight flashes through the room. She slowly turned to the bedside table and looked at the digital clock. It was already 8:45am. She sighed and stared at the peach-colored ceiling. She was still clutching on to the notebook. She stared at the notebook and took a breath.
"So... I fell asleep."
Yoon Ji slowly got up and went straight to the walk-in cabinet connecting to the bathroom. She just took her usual cotton shirt dress and a pair of shorts.
After fixing up, she went downstairs and to her surprise, she saw Yoona already cooking. Yoona heard her footsteps and looked up. She smiled and tossed the pancake on a white porcelain plate beside the stove.
"Good morning sleepyhead! First time you slept in. What happened?" Yoona asked as she poured a batter on the pan. Yoon Ji grabbed the plate of fresh pancakes fron the countertop. She grabbed a bowl of blueberries, powdered sugar, maple syrup, and placed them on the dining table. She sat on the dining chair and grabbed a fork and chewed on a mouthful of pancakes and berries.
"I read Hwang Yoo Hwa'sh diary..." Yoon Ji said as she chewed.
Yoona tossed two fresh pancakes on another plate and turned the stove off. She grabbed the plate and walked towards the dining area and sat in the chair in front of Yoon Ji. Yoon Ji looked up at Yoona and Yoona gave her a long, serious look.
"... So..?" Yoona said as she slowly placed a mouthful of pancakes on her fork.
"... sho..."
"Well??"
"Well..." Yoon Ji swallowed and stared at the pancakes.
"It just... Well... brought out some... unexpected feelings I guess... Well... Hwang Yoo Hwa is a dedicated woman..." Yoon Ji slowly said.
"Better than Heo Eun Kyung." Yoona said. Yoon Ji smiled and shook her head.
"Maybe they were all just victims of circumstances... And that they just need some serious talking..." Yoon Ji said as she started to pick on the blueberries with her fork.
"But you know... If things are not solved, they, or yet, we might be in danger." Yoona said as she ate her pancake. Yoon Ji looked up and stated at Yoona.
"Danger..?" She then remembered her dream with Hwang Yoo Hwa in a white hanbok.
"Well..." Yoona swallowed and poured orange juice on her glass.
"... I think it starts with one thing... The cure for the curse."
Yoon Ji slowly palced her fork down on her plate and stared at Yoona.
"Yoona... Do you really think--"
"--ugh. Yes, Yoon Ji. Tae Min and Tae Joon are both Tae Guk and Jeong Eun. Don't you feel strange around Lee Tae Min??" Yoona said before she drank half of the orange juice on her glass.
Yoon Ji fell deep into her thoughts.
"I feel... Happy... and secure I guess... But I fell sad at the same time. So sad I actually feel like crying."
"You wanna know what I feel as I saw Lee Tae Joon?"
Yoon Ji looked up and saw a sad smile on Yoona.
"... Grief. Intense sadness. Like there's a heavy load in my chest that I want to remove but I can't. Like I wanted to hug him but I can't." Yoona, then, drank the other half of the glass of juice.
"That's because we inherited our ancestors' feelings." Yoona added.
"So we're..."
"We are their reincarnation. I guess... I got Heo Eun Kyung, you are Hwang Yoo Hwa."
