By the way, this is about a week after last chapter.

🌗Alcor POV🌓

"C'mon, please?" Mabel persisted, poking my arm repeatedly. I groaned, but continued to ignore her, stuffing my nose back in the book I was reading.
She grunted beside me, then randomly stopped poking me. Although curious as to what she was planning, I was glad she had stopped bothering me. Honestly, I felt as if I was about to get a bruise if she didn't stop.
Then, just as I thought she had finally stopped, Mabel tackled me out of my seat.
"What the-!?" I exclaimed suprised. She laughed as I fell face first onto the hard wood floor. Not prepared for the playful sneak attack, she was able to pull my right arm behind my back, kneeling on it. Her hand pinned my face to the floor, but not hard enough for it to hurt.
She laughed again, but I was just getting annoyed. With half of my face pressed against the floor, I could only open on of my eyes.
"Mabel, get off of me." I say simply, aggravation coating my voice. She giggles, but doesn't loosen her grip.
"No can do bro. Not until you let me talk with Pacifica!~" she sings the last part, and quite off key if I might add.
"I've already said this many times Mabel. I can't!"
Feeling confident that she would get off of me this time, I tried to put a smirk on my face. Instead though, it turned out to be a squished version of a smile.
She sighed, and I could feel her grip loosening. But, just as I was about to spring onto my feet, I heard a familiar voice in my head.
"Hey Alcor! Me and Paz are coming for a visit, that OK?" Eve'stelepathic voice rang in my head. My eyes widened, and I answered quickly.
"No! That is not OK! It will put them in danger!" I despretly say to her.
If I could see her, I was certain I would see her shrug.
"Whatever, we're still coming, whether you like it or not. And what could be so dangerous about it!" Eve answered nonchalantly.
"EVERYTHING! Especially-" but before I could finish my sentence, a purple mist filled the room.
I groaned, while Mabel yelped in suprise. In her suprise she got off of me, and I stood up to brush myself off. Mist swirled around our feet, then came together to form a large collum. I cross my arms, already knowing what will happen next. But Mabel is transfixed at the, seemingly randomly appearing, purple mist.
The mist then dispersed, going right through our bodies. I was used to it, but Mabel wasn't. She touched her body where the mist went through her, looking to see if it did something.
When she looked back at where the collum was, her eyes widened. I merely had a frown on my face.
Standing there was Eve and Pacifica. Eve had a smug smirk on her face, while Pacifica had a genuinely happy one. Both Mabel and Pacifica squealed, and tackled each other in a tight hug. They both looked as if they were on the verge of tears.
I must admit, I was also glad to see Pacifica again, but right now couldn't have been a worse time.
Just as I was about to speak up, Ford entered the room through the Teleportation Door. At first, he only saw Eve, and he visibly tensed up. Unlike Mabel, Ford hadn't been able to adjust to demons as well. He was still on guard, even around me. But that I could understand. I mean, I did kinda scar his face with something he can't cover up.
Then he looked over at the two girls hugging in the middle of the room, and all his tension melted away.
"Pacifica!" he said happily, a jolly grin on his face. Both of the girls looked over and saw him walking towards them, and he joined the group hug. All of them laughed, and I looked at Eve.
She looked happy to see them all together, and believe me, so was I, but the danger level escalated as soon as she popped in. That's what made my blood boil.
"Eve, may I talk to you in the kitchen. I believe these three have some catching up to do." I say through gritted teeth. All Eve did was look at me until she noticed my angry glare. Then she marched to the kitchen in a brisk pace, and I followed her, fists clenched.
As soon as we stepped in the kitchen and out of sight, I slammed the door. She jumped a bit in suprise, but quickly regained composure. Eve looked at me with an annoyed glare, as if I was the one who did something wrong.
"What the heck is up with you? Why are you angry at me?" she asked, crossing her arms and slightly leaning to the left. Her bright purple eyes seemed to grow brighter, making her pale complection and raven black hair stand out. I stared back at her, a little taken aback that she didn't realize the danger.
"Eve, I know that you know about the Cipher Wheel. And each person that's a part of it emits a powerful aura. Especially in the Mindscape. And bringing four of them together is basically putting up a sign that says 'Hey! I'm important in stopping demons from destroying other dimensions! Come eat me!'" I pinch the brige of my nose, and squeeze my eyes tight, trying to control my anger.
"And to top the cake-" I add quickly before she had time to say anything. "-My worst enemy is getting stronger by the day. And now they have a beacon to know exactly where I am! Along with some of the people I care about most!" I flail my arms around, as if that would make my point clearer.
I look back at Eve, and she had her mouth wide open. Her face was suddenly lit with the realization, and her eyes were glazed over in recognition. She blinks furiously, and steps closer to me, taking my hand into hers.
"I'm so sorry. It never even crossed my mind. I didn't mean to...I..." Her mind seemed to go blank, and she just stared at my with her beautiful eyes. They were big and filled with sorrow for what she had done.
Her small nose was wrinkled with distress, as it always is when she's stressed. The patches of freckles around her nose and eyes seemed pop out of her own skin.
I smiled softly at the sweet gesture, and of the touch of her hand intertwined with mine. I brought the hand she had grabbed to her cheek, and brought her closer.
A light blush brushed across her cheeks. She stared into my eyes, while I stared deep into hers. Before I knew it, we were only a few inches apart, our eyes still locked with each other.
I closed this gap by pulling her into a quick yet passionate kiss.
I had never had any romantic feelings towards Eve before, but somehow it felt great to be this close to her. This gesture caught both of us by suprise, but we enjoyed it non the less.
We pulled apart, and we both stepped back a bit. I sighed and closed my eyes.
"I know that you didn't mean it, I'm sorry for getting any at you. It's just...I don't want to loose them again." I said softly.
I opened my eyes to see Eve looking at me with a small smile.
"I know you don't want to loose them. And you won't, if it's the last thing I do. I promise." she whispered.
We pressed our foreheads together, and stayed there for a few mesmerizing seconds. We looked at each other again, and we both gave a little giggle. I kissed her again, and this time we were both fully aware with what was happening. I melted into the passionate kiss, and so did Eve, kissing back.
Once again, we pulled apart, and just stared at each other. It looked as though Eve was about to say something, but she suddenly tensed up. And so did I.
A cold presence filled the entire room, and I could feel darkness spreading. A powerful aura surrounded my whole house, accompanied by a smaller, less noticeable presence. The hair on my neck stood on end, and my eyes widened. And I would bet Eve had the same reaction too.
But what really caught my attention was the unusual silence that clung to the air. Just a few seconds ago, Mabel's , Pacifica's, and Ford's laughter rang through the air. Now there was nothing.
Instinctfully, I grabbed Eve's hand and ran straight to the kitchen door. I opened it and it slammed into the wall with much force. What I saw made whatever was left of my heart stop.
In the middle of my living room was Tad Strange, who had my family tied up in the middle of the floor, gagged and struggling to escape. He had a wicked smirk on his face, which made my anger almost tip the scale. Tad was leaning on his cane with one elbow, his hand on his chin. I growled at him and squeezed Eve's hand tighter.
"I would advise letting them go Tad. I may not be as experienced as you, but Bill's powers were always stronger than yours." I grit my teeth, and I felt my wings flap angrily.
He laughed a cold hearted evil laugh. "I am aware that Bill was stronger than me, and I have accepted that now you are, too. But I don't think I'll let them go just yet."
If possible, I would think steam would be coming off of my entire body.
"And why is that?" Eve asks for me. And luckily she did, because I was trying my best not to rip Tads throat out.
Tad acted as if he just took notice of Eve, who was very visibly behind me the whole time.
"Now little lady, I don't think you want to be apart of this." Tad flicks his wrist, and I felt Eve's comforting hold on my hand disappear. I look back, and see that she's gone from my sight. I light my hands on fire, and look back at Tad with the glare of a thousand sun's.
Eve was now tied up in purple rope alongside the rest of my family, the same purple gag around her mouth.
"You better let them go, or else!" I yelled at him, fire in my hands growing. His expression changed for a moment, one of slight fear, but quickly turned back to his cocky attitude.
"Or else what?" a low voice said behind me. I look back and see a figure only a few inches shorter than me, draped in a black robe. The black hood obscure their face, so i could not identify who it was at first.
But then I saw bright red rope swirl around me, wrapping my arms to my sides and it slithered all the way down to my feet. Then, a pale, feminine hand, decorated with glowing red runes grabbed my chin. The demon in the hood made me look at them, and they took off their hood.
"Oh, don't be so angry, it makes you age faster you know." Kriyta's smooth voice said. Her four eyes lit up bright red, and her lips creased into a smile. Her gray skin and pitch black, long ragged hair seemed to almost melt into her robe. The runes on her face lit up brightly also, almost pulsing.
She brought my face close to hers. She closed her eyes, and took a big breath through her nose. She let her breath go in a big release, and let go off my chin.
"Mmhh~......I can't wait to get my hands on all that power buried deep within you..." she trailed one of her long finger nails across my cheek and down my neck. I wretched away, but I couldn't do very much.
The binds around me tightened, and I looked back at my family. Their faces were mixed with anger and complete terror, as if their emotions couldn't decide what was worse. They looked at me, and I knew what I would have to do.
"And you will soon Kriyta. And I will give it to you willingly too. On only one condition." I say, sadness and angry coating my words. I looked at my family one more time, then Kriyta made me face her.
"And that condition is~" she asked, and I could feel sweat forming on my forehead.
I sucked a big breath, and said what I needed to.  "You let my family and Eve go. They have nothing to do with our rivalry."
I could feel my family trying to protest, but all they could do was struggle.
Kriyta was quick to snatch up the offer. "Deal" she said quickly, then ordered Tad to undo their bonds as soon as she was gone with me. She looked at me with all four of her menacing eyes, and a wicked smirk plastered on her face.
"See you on the other side, Alcor." she whispered into my ear, and I felt myself dozing off. Even though I was powerful, Kriyta was much more powerful than me. And even with me being dream demon and her a simple demon of spells, I couldn't push her spell away.
The last thing I saw before I lost total consciousness was my families worried and desperate eyes, staring at me as though I was dying. Which was going to happen, now that I was in the grasp of Kriyta.

WOW. Long chapter. Hope you enjoyed and had a Happy Easter! By the way, Kriyta is a made up enemy of Alcors, so she is totally mine. The art isn't though.
