Consciousness finally came back to me after what felt like eternity. I was laying down on a hard surface with small points digging into my back. For a moment, I forgot the events that had unfolded before I blacked out. Then they all came back to me, and my eyes flung open in alarm.
"Wait, what..." I mumbled, extremely confused with what I saw. Above me were the branches of huge Redwood trees swaying slightly in the breeze. The sky above the branches was a colorless canvas, very similar to the mindscape. In fact, if the leaves weren't colorful, that's where I would have thought I was.
Hoisting myself into a sitting position, I took a further look at my surroundings. I was completely surrounded by a forest of Redwood trees that towered high into the sky. Crickets and numerous other insects could be heard making there peaceful tunes. Small, multi-colored pixies also floated around the forest, making the scene surprisingly relaxing.
I went to stand up, and a sudden sharp pain erupted from the back of my head. I gasped and sat back down again, bringing a hand to the back of my head to massage the pain. It quickly eased away, but I had a funny feeling that it would be back soon.
Hesitantly, I started to stand up again, and this time the pain disappeared.
"Weird...I thought I would be in Hell..." I said to myself.
In recent years, Hell had been in chaos. More than it usually was, anyway. After asking around, I found out that Kryita was leading a revolt against Crowley, who was the current ruler of Hell. This infuriated me, but I chose to not take part in defending Hell against her.
Then, two months ago, I read in the monthly 'Demons Digest' that Kryita had taken over Hell, And was now Queen. This had made me very uneasy. She was already a unusually powerful enemy before, but now she was Queen. I knew that she would eventually come to destroy me, but she couldn't have come at the worst time.
Number one; My family had finally learned that I was not actually dead. That wouldn't have been too bad on its own, but with this news, they could be used as a bargaining chip if she ever got ahold of them.
Number two; I had finally collected enough souls. If your wondering, I managed to get the souls from the people who came to my band concerts. I didn't take the whole soul out of everyone, but I collected fragments instead so everyone didn't leave a soulless monster.
Souls are really confusing though. Some souls could get tied to an object, while others could just roam free when it's host dies. But luckily, Johnny found a way to safely contain the soul fragments.
He engineered small containers to hold them in when the fragments were torn away from the host. This way, none of us had to go looking for the souls.
Now, knowing that people are probably curious as to why we need the souls in the first place, I might tell you. But it would be more fun to wait and see what happens.
As my confusion of where I was slowly ebbed away, I started to walk in a random direction. Walking through the forest, I felt an odd sort of calmness overwhelm me. It took almost all of my concentration not to slip into a totally blissful state. To keep myself busy, I kept asking myself questions.
Is my family okay? What about Eve? Did Tad and Kriyta really leave them alone? Will I ever know where I am? Or, more importantly, am I dead?
The last question made me stop in my tracks. "Am I dead...?" I fearfully asked myself. I wrapped my head around the idea, and realized that it could very well be possible. I wrapped my arms tightly around myself, and looked sadly at the ground.
But before I could fully start to think about it, I heard rustling from somewhere close. I whipped my head to the direction of the noise, and tried to light my hands on fire.
But I found that I couldn't. No matter how hard I concentrated, I couldn't use my powers in any sort of way.
That was when I realized that it was deathly quiet. The insects that were buzzing fell silent, and the pixies that illuminated the area had disappeared.
Feeling panicked, I grabbed the closest thing to me to use as a weapon. Which was a small stick.
Holding it in a swinging position, I inched closer to the noise. Finally, it revealed itself.
My eyes widened, and my mouth dropped to the floor. The stick I was holding seemed to boom across the forest as my hand released it. I was silent, and so was it.
"Y⃟ o⃟ u⃟ K⃟ I⃟ l⃟L⃟ e⃟ d⃟ U⃟ s⃟......" she whispered in a raspy voice. Her crumpled form was skinny, facing away from me, and her head hung low. She was almost all skin and bones. Then, suddenly, her head whipped in my direction.
I had to use a hand to cover my mouth as I saw her face. Mystics previously snow white fur was now a dark gray on her face. Her eyes were pitch black, and looked as if they were leaking black ooze.
I started to back away, tearing up as I did so. She turned and started stepping towards me.
"Y̸O̸U̸ K̸I̸L̸L̸E̸D̸ U̸S̸..." She repeated, staring straight at me with her dead stare.
"No...I didn't...that wasn't me..." I whispered as I backed up into a tree, tears falling freely from my eyes. I slid down, gripping my hair on the sides of my head. My breathing was now ragged, and my vision blurred from tears.
"Y̸͟͞O̸͟͞U̸͟͞ K̸͟͞I̸͟͞L̸͟͞L̸͟͞E̸͟͞D̸͟͞ U̸͟͞S̸͟͞!" she yelled right in my face.
"STOP IT!" I yelled desperately, putting my head into my knees. I stayed like this, sobbing into my knees, until I heard another voice.
"D⃣o⃣ y⃣o⃣u⃣ e⃣v⃣e⃣n⃣ c⃣a⃣r⃣e⃣?" She asked in a hurt voice. I looked up and saw a beat and bloodied Eve standing before me.
"Yes...I do..." I whispered, wishing that all of this would just disappear. But then, there was another voice that came, along with another person who looked mummified with glowing yellow eyes.
"օʄ ƈօʊʀֆɛ ɦɛ ɖօɛֆռ'Ꮖ, ɦօա ƈօʊʟɖ ǟ ɖɛʍօռ ƈǟʀɛ?" Ford said in a voice that didn't sound human.
"Please, stop..." I begged, tears flowing out of my eyes like waterfalls. But this torture was far from over. As I put my head in my knees once again, a hand painfully grabbed my hair. Pulling my head up and slamming it against the tree, I winced in pain, unable to see their face at first.
Then, through blurry vision, I saw who had pulled my head up, and I almost screamed.
Mabel stood inches from my face. Her hair was only there in clumps, and her whole body was torn and bloodied, almost to the point where you could see bone in some places. Her once chocolate brown eyes were now pitch black, and she had a psycotic smile on her face.
"yoυ waтcнed aѕ we were тorтυred, and yoυ loved every ѕιngle ѕecond oғ ιт!" Mabel said in her usual sweet voice, adding a small giggle at the end. After she giggled, the pain in my head that I felt before returned. Only two times more painful. I screamed in pain. I couldn't take much more of this.
"yoυ dιdn'т тry тo ѕтop тнeм... yoυ even joιned тнeм aғтer a wнιle...yoυ ĸιlled υѕ! yoυ are a мonѕтer!" She screamed at me, all sweetness gone. "yoυ were never мy вroтнer! yoυr jυѕт a deмon, and тнaтѕ all yoυ ever wιll вe!" She screamed even louder.
"STOP IT! PLEASE!" I yelled desperately. Then, just as the pain overwhelmed me, the people before me began to melt, like wet paint on a canvas. Soon the only one left was Mabel, and all she did was smile as she was washed away. My vision faded to black as the pain in the back of my head became too much, and the last thing I saw were Mabel's cold, soulless eyes.

I jerked awake from where I was laying. I was met with a concrete wall, but I didn't care. I started to sob, not caring who might be watching. I was drenched in sweat, and I was breathing deeply.
I was cold, and the floor I was sitting on didn't help one bit. It felt like an iceberg.
Finally, my sobbing quieted and my breathing was almost normal. Just as I was about to see where I could possibly be, an all too familiar voice spoke, echoing through the room I was in.

"Have a nice nightmare, sweetie?"
