As Rick muttered a “Good.“ to us, I looked at Daryl with disbelief. Did he actually want to go on another run with me after what happened? Daryl just stared back with no emotion. I quickly looked away and finished my food.

*Daryl’s P.O.V*
I hopped up my motorcycle after waiting for minutes on it. I rapidly shook Angela’s tent.
“C’mon! I will leave without you!” Angela finally unzipped her tent and got out. She shot me a rude look and made her way to my bike. I rolled my eyes at her attitude. Yes, it was the first thing I said to her since what she did, but how did she expect me to react?
Finally we were on the road again. This drive was longer than our last, seeing as we had to go to the next town. Surprisingly we hadn't spot a walker in the town yet. Making me more cautious.
I signaled for Angela to wait at the front of the store as I went to check inside. She rolled her eyes and leaned her back on the wall. Dumb bitch. If she wants to die, fine, but it won’t be because I didn’t try my best to keep her safe. She just liked being stubborn and won’t listen to me.
I shot two walkers down and recovered my arrows from the bodies before walking back outside to tell Angela it was clear now, but she wasn’t there. What the hell? I readied my crossbow and looked all around. My bike was still there and no other new vehicles were parked nearby.
“Dammit, Angela, why didn’t you just stay where I told you to?” I thought out loud.
“Because you’re not the boss of me.” Angela’s voice from behind me came out of nowhere, making me jump. I aimed my crossbow at here in instinct. She slowly shoved my weapon out of her face.
“Calm down. I’m not trying to kill you.”
“Are you crazy? You just can’t go running of like that! I told you to stay right there,” I yelled, pointing in front of the store I just inspected. “Now where were you? Hm?”
“Like I told you, you’re not the boss of me. But if you must know, I went looking through a store.” She crossed her arms and looked up proud. I scoffed.
“What?” She questioned. I smirked, knowing I got to her.
“Nothing. Just nothing.” She lowered her eyes at me, then walked past me into the store I was just in.

“We should’ve taken a fucking car.” Angela groaned out, hesitating to carry the bag of guns. Lucky for us it was still light out, so if Angela dropped the bag it wouldn’t be hard or unsafe to find and retrieve the bags.
We hopped on my bike and made our way back to the prison. It was silent again with only some complaints from Angela about her back hurting, while I ignored her.
