Ross's POV
This girl was really something else. We just had that chemistry, ya know? I felt like I could just talk and talk to her. I really want to get to know her.
I could barely sleep after I hung up with her. My mind was racing with thoughts. Thankfully I have tomorrow off so I can sleep in.
The bright sun beamed through my window and woke me up. I turned over to see Ryland's bed empty and then checked the clock to see it was noon.
Then I leaned over to check my phone and saw I had a text from Maddie.
From: Maddie 😍😍
Goodmorning Ross ☺️
I smiled and ran my fingers through my hair.
To: Maddie 😍😍
I'm sorry.. guess it's not really morning anymore 😂 I don't usually have the chance to sleep in late very often
I laid in bed for a little bit longer just checking Twitter and Instagram then finally I decided to get up.
Even though it was lunch time, I was still in the mood to eat breakfast. I went into the kitchen to see my mom and Rydel making lunch.
"Good afternoon sleepy head," My mom said smiling at me.
"Did ya look in the mirror yet today Ross?" Rydel chuckled as she came over to fix my hair.
A small smile formed on my face and then I nudged her away.
"Mom can you make me some breakfast? Pleeeeeease?" I asked her, batting my eyes.
She just looked at me, "I'm making lunch for everyone else sweetie."
I sighed and went to the pantry and took out a box of cereal. I sat and ate my breakfast and just chatted with them.
Rydel teased, "So mom, did Ross tell you about this girl he met at the Chicago show?"
Almost immediately I smiled as I brought up the spoon of cereal up to my mouth.
My mom nearly glared at me, "Ross you know I don't think it's a good idea to get involved with random fans. It's not safe. You don't even know this girl."
"I know mom, you've told us this all before. But she's different. This is why I didn't want to tell you. It's not even a big deal.." I told her as stared into my cereal.
"Look honey, it's really just not safe. You have absolutely no idea who this girl even is. You don't know anything about her or her family. She could just be lying to you about who she is and-"
I cut her off, "Okay mom, I get it."
I walked over to the sink and poured the left over milk down the drain.
"Could you tell everyone else lunch is ready?" Rydel asked.
I nodded as I walked out of the kitchen and I saw Riker sitting in the living room.
"Aye man, Mom and Rydel made lunch."
"Alright," Riker responded. He turned off the TV and starting walking down the hall.
"Where's everyone else?"
"I think they're outside playing basketball. I'm not sure though."
I opened the front door and walked over to the side of the house and saw my dad, Rocky and Ryland playing basketball.
"Ross, you wanna play 2 on 2?" Rocky asked me and he make a 3 pointer.
"Nah man, I was just coming to say lunch is ready.."
