Chapter 10

Maddie's POV

My perfect getaway weekend has quickly come to an end. September is approaching which means I have to go back to school and Ross has to go back home. So, we have to take him back to the airport.

My family went to go grab breakfast and I was helping Ross pack his bag up. He was in the bathroom packing his toiletries as I was folding up his clothes.

"I've really had an amazing time with you Mads," Ross shouted from the bathroom.

As he said that I found a little box shoved in the bottom of his suitcase. They were condoms.

I picked them up, "What the hell are these?"

Ross walked out of the bathroom, shirtless, "Babe I can explain-"

"No. Where you just planning on coming here and sleeping with me?" I spat with anger.

"No Maddie! I-"

"Just stop. Do you even love me? Or did you just say that so you could have sex with me?"

"Maddie listen to me! I didn't even pack those, my dad did. I had no intention of sleeping with you. I told you I want to make that night special. You know you mean the entire world to me." Ross said as he walked toward me and put his hands on my shoulders.

I looked straight into his brown eyes and melted.

I sighed and crossed my arms, "Why would he even pack them? He probably figured you'd need them. You're not even a virgin, are you Ross?"

Ross let go of me and ran his fingers through his hair, "No, I'm not."

I sat down on the bed as my thoughts raced, I yelled, "When were you planning on telling me?"

"I don't know," he said as he sat down next to me.

"Well who was it?" I asked.

"That girl I dated, Morgan. I met her on set of Teen Beach Movie. I mentioned her to you before, didn't I?

I looked in his eyes with such furry, "Yeah you did mention her, you didn't mention that you lost her virginity to her!"

Ross cut me off, "Let me explain. It was the last night in Puerto Rico and we were all just chillin on the beach. And someone brought alcohol and I was completely wasted and so was she. We went into one of the little shacks there and it just sorta happened. I mean I wish my first time wasn't like that but I can't change it now."

I was silent. How do you listen to your boyfriend talk about having sex with another girl?

"I appreciate you telling me. But I mean you'll be seeing a lot of each other now with the movie out and everything."

"Babe I promise you there is nothing there anymore. We saw each other for a little bit but that was over a year ago. I love you! And I would never do anything to jeopardize that!" Ross said.

"Has she been the only one?" I asked.

Ross just nodded. I felt a little bit more relieved.

"Are you still a virgin?" He asked, seeming surprised.

"Well, yeah-"

"Oh. I thought maybe you and Michael had. . . ," He started.

"No," I automatically responded, still concentrating on my feet.

There was an awkward silence between us for a few moments.

Ross broke the silence, "I need to finish packing."
