Falling For Madness

Chapter 7

Ross's POV

After a long wait, I'm finally going to be able to see Maddie. I really can't even contain my excitement.

Every since my parent agreed to let me go, they have been asking thousands if questions about her. Like what she was like? If she was sweet of funny? Just pointless questions.

At first I didn't mind because I love talking about Maddie, but after a while it got annoying.

It's Wednesday night, and my flight leaves at around 9am. I'm packing my bags so I wasn't rushed in the morning.

There was a knock on my door, "Come in," I said as I walked over to grab another shirt from my closet.

My dad walked in and sat down on my bed, "I wanted to have a little chat with you Ross."

I have a him a funny look, laughed and said, "Oookay, what's this about?"

"I want you to be careful Ross. You're young and have a lot of hormones going on and I know you're not going to see her for a while and-"

I stopped him right there, "Dad, I know where this is going, I'm not going to have sex with her..."

"Well nowadays people don't seem to care about whether or not you love each other. I just wanted to make sure that if you make that choice, you would be prepared," He said as he reached into his jean's pocket.

I just shook my head, knowing what he was about to give me.

"Dad! I don't need you to get me condoms. Stop this is so weird," I said as I got up to continue packing.

"I'm just going to put them in your bag, just in case.." My dad said as he tossed a few packages of condoms into my bag.

I finished packing up my stuff and put my bags down on the floor. I laid in my bed thinking about how awkward that conversation was with my dad. Like no one wants to get condoms from their dad, that's so embarrassing. If I needed condoms I would have gotten some.

Just then, Ryland walking into our room and picked up one of the condoms sitting on the top of my bag.

He smirked, "You're banging her already?"

I couldn't help but laugh, "Nah, dad gave me them. He wanted me to be careful I guess."

"Yeah man that's fucking weird," He said.

"Tell me about it, he came in here and gave me a speech and everything."

Ryland just laughed and threw the packet back in my bag.

I decided to say goodbye to my everyone before I went to bed because I have to leave early to get to the airport.

I walked downstairs into the basement and saw Riker and Rocky playing Xbox.

"Aye guys I'm leaving early tomorrow to go on vacation with Maddie so I won't see you guys.."

Their eyes were glued to the screen and seemed to not be interested in what I was saying.

Riker finally spoke up with his attention still focused on the game, "Alright well see ya bro."

"Yeah, have fun," Rocky chimed in.

I mean I was only going to be gone 4 days, so I didn't really expect a full goodbye. But they're attention would have been nice.

Then I headed back upstairs and went into the living room. Ellington and Rydel we're watching a movie on the couch.

I jumped on the both of them and said, "I'm gonna miss you Delly."

"Yeah, yeah. Ill miss you too," She spat sarcastically as she ran her fingers through my hair, messing it up.
