"Before I carry on, however, it is probably easier to explain if you take this book: Book of Forbidden Prophecies. Me and ma ogre mate found this book stashed in a very very old looking tree-trunk in the forest. Took me a while to recognise it but it seems to be the records of an Oracle's prophecies. It has only one prophecy now, but as I recall, the prophecies will reveal itself as time passes, if the ancient traditions of the Cymurri were true." Alchemist said as he handed me a thick book covered in ancient bindings.

Holding the book in my hand, it felt strangely heavy, as if its weight was not physical, but a mental one, if that even makes any sense. Opening the book, the pages seemed worn, old and the entire book was blank, save for its first page. (To read the prophecy written here, please kindly refer to my book: Book of Forbidden Prophecies, which can be found on my profile.) The prophecy written didn't make much sense to be, okay fine I thought it was gibberish and had no idea what it meant.

Given my state of mind at the moment, I simply gave up reading the prophecy and asked Alchemist, "So what does this prophecy has to do with anything?"

Alchemist's lips curled into a smirk, which is seriously creep by the way, and he said, "Well, I was hoping you could fill me in, human. I simply saw a glowing blue sigil appear out of nowhere and my poor mate just went charging right in. However, I can tell you this: While we were searching for ingredients in the forest, whispers, rumours were heard. It seems that a war is coming, and not from the battle of the ancients. Something is happening around the worlds everywhere ever since the Oracle was banished. As I entered your world, I could have sworn I saw a sea of bats flying right after me."

A sea of bats? It sounds rather familiar, but before I could try to recall, a loud knock can be heard from my office door. When he heard the knock, the peaceful ogre immediately jumped out and started holding its ears as if the knocking were too loud for him. Jumping from my seat, I quickly went to open the door before the ogre starts to act up and thrash my office. Opening the door, I was greeted by a weird sight. A girl roughly my age was standing before me, and she was gorgeous. She was wearing a clear blue armour, with her left hand wielding a staff that glowed softly. Her right shoulder was a head of... something, but it was crafted such that the armour made her looked rather forbidding. On top of that, her hands were covered with gloves. Before I could say anything, not that I can when staring at such beauty, she walked past me and entered my office. Turning, I closed the door behind me just as she went over to the ogre and put her hand on it. At her touch, the ogre seemed to calm down visibly, and it suddenly seemed sleep as it sank to the floor, falling asleep.

"What have you done to my friend you witch!?" Alchemist was raging as he jumped up and down from the couch, looking like an angry gnome.

"Cool yourself, Razzil, I have simply made your beast rest. Transcending from your world into this have taken its toll on the ogre, and it sorely needed rest." The lady in blue said as she turned to me. "And you, are you the host of this land?"

When she spoke, her voice sounded icy cold, even to the point of emotionless. If I had knew any better, I might have said her voice echoed the sound of winter, with the force of a blizzard.

Not sure how to proceed, I replied, "My name is Jason, who are..."

As her lips curled to a humourless smile, it striked me hard and fast. She was the one who employed me to find her cat! Bewildered, I looked at her harder and realise that the cute girl I saw from the coffee shop who requested me to find her cat was the same as this ice cold lady standing before me.

"You asked me to find your cat!" I blurted out.

Not replying, she simply waved her staff and from it came a speckle of blue dust, which swirled together formed into a frozen cat. When she touched her staff gently onto the statue, colour started filling the cat and in moments, the same cat I've been chasing earlier was standing before me, licking its paws and staring innocently at me.
