it's been 3 days since little Sami passed away. Callie isn't taking it so good at all. She won't let anyone in her room. She won't come out either. She hasn't eaten she hasn't spoken to anyone. she hasn't even answered my texts. I'm worried about my babygirl. She is getting worse everyday. But today, today I'm going to try and see if she will let me in. I haven't tried to come in her room because Mrs Wendi and Taylor said its no use trying.
I knock on their front door and Taylor answers. he looks rough. tear stained cheeks. red face.
I guess actually nobody is taking this in a good way. I smiled at him and walked over to Mrs Wendi on the couch.
"Hey sweetie. you going to try today?" she asks me as I hug her
"yes ma'am. I think she will let me in. I'm worried about her."
"everyone is hon but I see where you stand. go get her." she says smiling at the end.
I walk upstairs past sami's room and to Callie's door. here goes something.
I knock on the door. nothing.
I knock again. I hear stirring around in I think her bed.
I knock one more time. "please go away" she says softly.
"Callie? babygirl it's me. please open up. I'm worried about you."
"no I can't Hunter. just leave. please. you can't see me like this." she says as I hear sniffling.
"babygirl. I'm not leaving unless your with me. please. just open the door for me."
I hear her get up and unlock the door. a couple seconds later the door slowly opens.
"c-callie" I breathe out. she looks worse than Taylor. oh my gosh. I immediately go up to her and squeeze her in a hug. she starts sobbing.
"shhhh stop crying babygirl. I'm here for you. I'll always be here for you. I-I love you Callie Rose Harris. I'm never gonna go away." I say still hugging her. she looks up at me.
"I love you Hunter. please never leave me." I let go of her and grab her hand.
"I will not. I love you way too much babygirl. now. let's go get us some food!" I say getting up.
she gets up too and we walk downstairs. Mrs. Wendi gets up and smiles. Callie lets go of my hand and runs to her.
Taylor walks to me and whispers something, "good job bro. I have lots of respect for you." I nod and go into the kitchen with Callie.
