I heard a noise come from my window. I opened my eyes to see what it was and there she stood, still as a statue by my window; Octavia Spencer. It took me a while to fully understand why she was there and how she got in my room.
I pulled my covers off of me and slid my legs to the side of my bed.
"What are you doing here?" I asked, confused. I went to stand up, but Octavia came by my side and sat me back down. She looked at me with a weird expression and I became instantly anxious.
She placed her hand to the side of my face. Her hand felt like ice and it sent shivers down my spine. Octavia laughed lightly, but the humourous act  never met her eyes.
"Oh, Edmund . . ." She shook her head slowly, almost disappointed. "I really do wish that there was another way. Now before you ask me any questions, I just want you to know that I am sorry." Octavia's face changed suddenly. A frightening expression  appeared on her once soft and caring features. Her eyes went hard and her lips curled up over her sharp teeth. Her hand moved to the side of my neck, tilting it to the side slightly. Octavia leant towards me, close to my ear.
"I promise this won't hurt." Octavia's mouth moved down to my throat, before her teeth sank into my skin.

I jerk awake, throwing my covers off of me and sitting up. I take deep breaths in as I try to catch my breath. What a strange dream that was. All I remember from it was that Octavia was in my room and then all of a sudden she bit the side of my neck.
Why the hell would I dream about that - and why was Octavia in my dream?

Well, it's not that I haven't dreamt about her these last couple of months. I mean, it would be a lie if I said I hadn't. And quite frankly, I don't understand why I could have not dreamt about her. She's always in my head; every second of every hour. I just can't seem to stop thinking about her and it's driving me crazy.

I turn on my bedside lamp and move over to my window. The floorboards creek under my sleep deprived footsteps and I open up my window to let some fresh  air into my room. The chilly night's air forces goosebumps over my skin and I shiver. I take a few deep breaths of the cold air into my lungs, the heaviness of my eyelids making me want to fall asleep right where I am. I stumble back to my bed and turn my lights off, sleep immediately washing over me.

My alarm goes off, signalling that it is time for me to wake up. I open my eyes slowly but then shut again.
Why do they feel so heavy?
I get out of bed and take a quick shower. The hot steamy water loosens up my tight muscles. Whatever that dream was last night, really stuffed me up. I don't understand how me thinking about Octavia all the time could result in having a dream about her being a vampire. I've seen movies in the past and with all the mythical stories that I've heard it's just common knowledge these days that people who drink human blood from, for example, the neck area is automatically seen as a vampire.
Unless some people are just plain creepy and have some infatuation in becoming a human vampire but I highly doubt it.
Unless they are a cannibal, then that's just messed up and wrong.

When I walk out the front door to go to school, the clouds are extremely dark. Like they are waiting to pour down on us in any second.
As I just pull into the school parking lot it starts to pour down with rain. I find a park quickly and go to reach for my rain coat when I find that it's not there.
    Crap!
I left my coat on the coat rack. Of all days that I decided to leave my coat at home it just happens to be bucketing down with rain. I decide to wait in my car as the rain pours down above for it to slow down. But nothing. Nothing changes. It's probably just going to keep on raining like this all morning. Well, I guess I'm just going to have to run.
I turn off the engine, grab my school bag and my keys, and brace myself for the rain. I swear that the moment I got out and had only ran past my car I was completely soaked from head to toe. When I finally reached the school doors I quickly ran through the doors, slipping over in the process. I fell flat on my ass onto the tiled floors. I quickly got up and just continued to walk down the hallway acting as if nothing just happened. A few girls giggled and some guys laughed, but I've had worse.
The bell rang, signalling first period is about to start. I'm on the bloody other side of the school from where the Science laboratories are.
    Oh great.
