Nicholas/Javier POV.
"Christian has Queen been attended to ?" , It's been almost two hours and according to what I heard Victor is on his on way and that's precisely what I have been avoiding.
"Yes she's in the reception why hope no problem,Javier " ?
"No problem ,thanks Christian please give me the file containing all the informations concerning this case and the investigations done ".
"One of my men already gave it out to Patricio" ,Christian said.
"Good Evening Victor "Christian greeted .
I stiffened immediately I heard Victor's reply, immediately i noticed Queen beside him anger boiled in my veins .
"And what is so good about your evening ,I really need to know because mine hasn't been great after discovering that my wife was almost murdered".
"Victor, Queen wasn't the target and if you weren't informed she was the one who found the body". I said to Victor bitterly.
"And so what" ? Victor asked
'You really haven't figured it out ,really Victor I taught you were smarter than this, the murderer already took their leave before Queen arrived at her shop and the autopsy performed on Riccardo confirmed that he was murdered fifteen hours before his discovery"
"And what has that got to do with me Javier or should I say Nicholas"? , Victor asked staring at me menacingly
"I stared at him back murderingly ,my hands hitching to make contact with his face " Since you are too dumb to understand what I'm trying to say I will just spell it out ..." I barely made it out before Queen interrupted me
" Oh for God's sake please ,would you two stop acting like children fighting over a stick of candy" ? Queen pleaded tiredly
"Queen, isn't it obvious that you are the piece of candy these two are fighting over,even a fool would notice the tension between them".Christian who hadn't said anything for a while said
"Christian Taraba I forbid you to say such things ,Victor think it's high time we leave", Queen said
"Of course my love ,we should take our leave we've got a lot of things to talk about and Javier please come home early you wouldn't want to miss dinner especially the one that would be organised by my wife" Victor said as they made their way
out of Christian's office.
How dare Victor do this, how dare him ? He knows how much I love Queen and he took her away from me he is going to pay for this I swear he will pay for this .
Oh Nicholas I'm winning I already got Queen and I will soon take everything away from you I promise you that. I remember those words he said to me eight years ago while we were in the reception waiting for the doctors to give us news about Queen after her accident.
I remember the tensed conversation we had and those words I will never forget them, if he wants a game then I would play it with him and may the best man win.
I sighed as i walked out of the building and entered my car driving towards the scene to the next clue : Queen's father, Arturo Madison apartment 's basement
