Chapter 15

Javier's POV.

It was like a dream .l thought Queen was going to be jealous and I was right , she was jealous . More than jealous .

I can't wait to see her face when I tell her that I and Stephanie would be moving in to the De Rosas mansion as a married couple . l was interrupted by the claps I heard around me .

Wait , what is going on ? I didn't hire a magician to perform and why is he using Clarita as a tool for entertainment ?

"Oh well little brother I did and don't worry Clara is going to be safe .Nothing will happen to her I made sure the magician was one of the best in Las Vegas. Right Queen" , he said glancing at Queen who looked horrified and scared

"I didn't realise I said that loud", I said to Victor whose face was filled with a triumphant mischievous look.

"Oh there are somethings we do not realise we have done until we are actually reminded by someone of it ,what do you think Queen " ? ,Victor said looking at Queen in a way i didn't quite understand .

I thought I could read people but Queen looked like she understood beyond what was expected and she also looked very pale despite the heavy make over she had on her face .What is doing on with these two ?

I guess with Queen back from coma there are going to be lot of questions I can't even answer and the only person who can actually do that is standing right beside Victor looking like her heart is about to be torn from her .

A gory scream jolted me back from my train of thought. It was Queen screaming and everyone was panicking and the magician was suddenly gone.

"Victor , please bring back my daughter . Where is she and your stupid magician" ? , Queen kept on screaming and sobbing .

I couldn't take it anymore I wanted to take her in my arms and comfort her that Clarita would be fine but as it turns out Stephanie, my wife-to-be pulled herself closer into my arms.

"I can't believe this .It my engagement party and Queen is stealing the spotlight . How can she be so dramatic Nicholas ?  I am sure they will find Clarita" , Stephanie said nonchalantly .

"Stephanie, a child is missing and you are talking about spotlights and engagement party .do you even have an heart" ? , I asked angrily and walked away to look for Clara.

Queen's POV.

"How can you do this Victor ? Just because Clara is not  your daughter doesn't mean you can harm her" , I said angrily to Victor who looked like he just won a battle.

Flashback.

"Yes Clarita isn't my daughter , I hope it is not too late that you found out the truth " , Victor said mockingly.

"Oh my God you are such a monster Victor .how can you hide this from me and live with yourself  .Just wait till I tell Ni-" , i was interrupted by Victor's voice.

"You are going to do nothing like I said nine years ago .Oops sorry your brain is blank I forgot .You see nine years ago we made  a deal  that you will keep your mouth shut about Clarita's  biological father and I will keep are safe . I guess that what is going to happen now, you will not tell Javier and Clara will be safe . Are we clear Queen" ? , Victor asked in for serious tone.

"Crystal " , I replied scared for my daughter's life.

"Well then let's go downstairs and enjoy the party  before our guests start wondering where their hosts went off to.Shall we "? , Victor said as he held his arm out and I took it and we walked downstairs arm in arm both of us smiling like nothing just happened.

Because nothing just happened .

End of flashback.

"I am so sorry Queen this is just a warning and believe me you won't like to see my other side so how about you give me a kiss" , he said smirking

"What ,how can you say that Clarita is still missing" , I said in an angry tone full of disgust.

"Oh please Queen stop being so melodramatic you do know that if you can't bear to kiss me you can imagine am Nicholas and believe me it will be a romantic kiss" ,  Victor said mockingly .

"She is your niece Victor , the same blood runs through your vein.You , Clara and Nicholas", I said in shock.

"Please she's my niece not my daughter and you know how much I hate the love of your life so it's only  logical I hate his daughter too . Don't you think Queen" ? , he said mockingly .

"You are so sick I hate you with every bone in my body", I said bitterly.

"You know Queen don't forget Clarita is still missing and it could get worse or better" , Victor said with a blank look on his face.

"What do you mean by that statement it could get worse or better " ,I said shouting at him.

"I think you do Queen . You are much more smarter than i give you credit for .It could get better in the sense that we could find Clarita and it could get worse in the sense that we could find her corpse so now kiss me in the manner that I suggested earlier", he said coldly.

I couldn't imagine anything happening to my daughter so I kissed Victor until I was interrupted by Nicholas cold voice.

"I thought I heard shouting and I moved closer to see what was happening and now I see this .Am I the only one looking for Clara because her parents are here making out like their daughter isn't missing" ? , Nicholas asked sarcastically.

If only you knew Nicholas keep looking for your daughter I will be here keeping our daughter safe by calming down this psychotic man

"Are you two going to keep staring or you will look for-" Nicholas didn't get to finish what he wanted to say when he was interrupted by a loud voice screaming Clara.

I didn't even know when I followed the voice that belonged to Asuncion and what I saw made me scream and then all I saw was darkness.

As for Victor I think Queen finding out that Clarita isn't his daughter is like an advantage to him so he can blackmail her and control her to doing whatever he wants.

Anyway what do you think Queen saw that made her so horrified that she fainted ?
