Stephanie's POV.
"Javier , what's wrong ? You are not even looking at me . Did I do something wrong ?" , I asked knowing what was wrong Javier does not want to touch me .
"No am sorry it's me am just tired . I will go downstairs to get a drink" , he said as he left the room .
I can't do this anymore . I can't believe this , he still loves her . I can feel it inside of me. Queen De Rosas will always be Javier's only love .
I slipped in my slippers and left my room for Victor's room .If Javier won't satisfy my needs I know someone who is as desperate as I am .
Victor.
Besides Queen had caught us before and she didn't look like she cared one bit except for the fact that she is happy she has something on me .
Queen's POV.
It's funny how I end my day with sighing most of the time . The look on Javier's face when he found out I was working for the intelligence agency was priceless.
"Hey , finding it difficult to sleep" , speaking of the devil.
"Yeah am a little bit stressed out and going to bed is out of options . How about you ? Trouble in paradise with Stephanie " , I asked him
"Queen please not now , I am begging you we've all had a long day ,you of all people should understand that and the last thing I want to deal with is your jealousy " , he said sitting on the chair.
"My jealousy ? Is this what you would call it Nicholas , I will never be jealous of that possessed thing you call your wife " , I said angrily
"You sure of that Queen because it doesn't seem like it , don't worry how about I prove to you that you are jealous and you want me " , he said moving closer to me till our lips were an inch away
"Javier don't do this please I am begging you, don't you dare torture me like this and yes I am jealous , Now get out of my way I need to check on my daughter. " I said moving as far away as I could get from him.
"Oh speaking of your daughter I think you meant our daughter Queen . Tell me Queen when were you going to tell me that Clara was my daughter ? " , he asked angrily .
"What ! I think the drink you took has started taking effect . How can Clara be your daughter ? Are you out of your damn mind ? Don't ever let anyone hear you say this" , I shouted at him.
"Why, are you afraid that your husband would kill Clara ? That what he has on you, isn't it ? answer me Ignacia " , he shouted angrily.
"I am not a coward Queen like your husband that the only thing he can do to keep you with him is to threaten our daughter's life neither am I a daft person" .
"Did you really think no one would figure it out ? . Clara's hair and her eyes colour that you and Victor do not have or the fact that it doesn't make sense that you got pregnant with Victor's daughter , the timing is wrong" .
"And it also doesn't makes sense that he would threaten to kill Clara unless she is my daughter , the man he hates most . The funniest thing is that you are too helpless and can't do anything about it " .
"Nicho......" , I started to say but got interrupted by Nicholas.
"Don't you dare lie to me Queen , I have the DNA test result with me" .
"I am so sorry Nicholas , I didn't mean to hide your daughter from you . He threatened me and I didn't have anyone to help me . And you left me ". I sobbed.
"I did not abandon you Queen , I never did and you know that our heart was , is and will always be together " , he said before hugging me .
We left the mansion together .The last time we made love was on a ship and now we are at Javier's condo in his bedroom with nothing but the bedsheets to cover our secrets.
"Nicholas do you regret this ? , what we just did because I do not " , I asked my head resting on his chest.
"No. I will never regret making love to you . Queen I didn't marry Stephanie to get revenge on you . I did it to get closer to her so we can put her and Victor away for the crimes they committed and to do that I need evidence" , I told her kissing her lips.
She picked up a file on my nightstand and read it .
"Nicholas , Stephanie and Victor's diamond trafficking business is booming. what's your plan ? " i asked as I read the file.
"Queen , you just do your part of the deal and let me do mine . It's best you don't know so you will be out of danger " , he said kissing me.
"You don't trust me, do you ? " , i asked him
"No, Queen that's not true and you know it . Of course I trust you with my life and everything I have but I can't and won't put you in danger " , he said .
"Nicholas , its almost morning . I need to get Clara to school and no one must notice we left the mansion" , I said .
"It's okay Queen we are covered and I promise you that nothing will happen and no one will know . Come on let's hurry" .
Victor's POV.
"Get out of my bed , Stephanie . It's almost morning, if the maids catch us together it won't be pretty" , I said angrily .
"Hey what is wrong with you ? It's not my fault your wife refuses to sleep with you and I am doing that and look how you are repaying me " , she said still wrapping my bedsheets round her body
"Look at pot calling kettle black we both know that you came to sleep here with me because Nicholas can't stand you . I mean how will he when you are almost his mother's age " , I said laughing at her .
" That is enough Victor ! Let's talk about business. When is the delivery arriving ? And are you sure no one tipped the feds because I can't stand losing any more money " I said slipping into my nightie.
"Don't worry Stephanie you won't regret working with me . Now lets talk about something more important " I said as she leaves my bed to get out of my room .
"And what is it ? " , she asks angrily.
"The green gems" .
What is the green gems and what's the importance ?
Our lovebirds are back together , you think they can keep this secret for long ?
As for Victor and Stephanie , how long will they keep cheating on their spouses ?
