Authors Note

sorry for any of you that thought this was an update but I figured I needed to let you guys know that I want to do a writing contest if you are interested. I am also letting you know a few decisions I have made.

Decision one! I am getting rid of the sorcerer's stone all together. I'm not using anything from that book except what is in every first year's year at Hogwarts and what I have already added in.

Decision two! I need to get rid of another book but the rest I think are too important to get rid of (I will naturally be changing them up.) but because I don't want to get rid of anymore of the stories I have decided to combine Harry's second and third year into one year for Haylie. So she will meet Sirius and also battle the Basilisk.

Decision three! this book is going to be way too long if I do all of Haylies years in one book so I will be splitting it into two (really long) books. years 1-4 and 5-8.

Year one: Haylie's memory

Year two: the chamber of secrets and the prisoner of Azkaban

Year three: The goblet of fire

Year four: the flight of the order of the phoenix

Year five: the half blood prince

Year six: Riddle me this

Year seven: the deathly hallows

Year eight: the battle of Hogwarts.  

Yes there are two totally different stories. And yes I do realize that Haylie will be through with schooling by the battle of Hogwarts.

So about that contest I may or may not do. here is what im thinking. Year one is coming to a conclusion I only have 4 maybe 5 chapters planned then I start year two. So everyone has their own opinion on how Haylie should meet Sirius Black (at least that's what im assuming) so I want you guys to think about writing the chapter where they meet.

Requirements:

He still must escape from Azkaban.

Haylie must still believe he is a bad guy until otherwise convinced.

You may not in any way copy the book so Ron and Hermione cant be there. (Scabbers probably can) Lupin cant turn into a werewolf. Snape could show up if you want him to but he cant do anything that he did in the book. The Dementors cant attack Sirius at the lake.

The chapter can be in any character's POV so long as they have already been introduced in the story. 

If you had an idea but one of these ruled it out come talk to me and ill see if its something I am willing bend on.

First prize winner will get there chapter posted as the chapter where Haylie meets her godfather, as well as that chapter and another one dedicated to them, and a fallow from me.

Second place gets a dedication and a fallow.

third place gets a dedication.
