After training for many hours at night and in the early mornings it was time for my first Quidditch match. Fed and George and I were both super excited. I was ready for this. I couldn't wait till I got out there on the field. We were playing Slytherin today and the whole school had turned up for the event.

We mounted our brooms and kicked off. I felt laughter bubbling up inside of me.  I took off as soon as Madam Hooch tossed the Quaffle into the air. I watched the game going on for a second then took off as I caught a glimpse of something gold and fast. I locked my  eyes on it and chased after it. Soon the other seeker was hot on my trail. I flew as fast as I could. Suddenly I saw a bludger coming at me. I flinched a little but it didn't hit me. Fred smiled at me as I looked back over my shoulder and kept flying after the Snitch. I was catching up to the Snitch when suddenly the other Seeker came crashing into me with a lot more force than I could stand. I snatched at the air as I fell. I felt something in my hand but didn't have time to look as my other hand let go of the broom. I screamed as I fell and then blacked out as I hit the ground hard.

*Fred's POV*

I watched in horror as Haylie fell. I looked over at George knowing neither of us could get there in time. We still rushed after her though. Our attempt to save her was a lost cause but we were there shortly after she hit the ground and blacked out. I reached her and hopped off my broom letting it fall to the ground. I grabbed her clenched hand then realized there was something in it. I unfurled her hand and found the snitch. I looked up at the crowd shocked then I held it up to show that Gryffindor had won.

The stands cheered then George and I helped get Haylie to the hospital wing. Madam Pomfrey said she had a major concussion and that she should remain here for a few days. So George and I went up to the common room. On the way we ran into Tammer.

I went to walk right past him till he said "She got what she deserved you know."

I turned on my heel and punched him in the face. That's when his two friends came out of nowhere and pinned me against the wall. The biggest one held me there as George tried to get me free but wasn't getting through. The other one pulled my shoulder out of its socket. I screamed in pain. Then he went to my other arm that was still pinned and broke it at the wrist. I now had two broken bones in my wrist and a dislocated shoulder.

The big guy let me go and I slumped against the wall. George was about to punch one of them when Tammer said  "I wouldn't do that unless you want him to have another broken bone.." The big follower came back around the corner. George took one look at me and I knew he needed to throw a punch. I nodded at him. The big henchman picked me up like I weighed nothing again as George threw his punch. The guy had his oversized hand around my throat and was slowly cutting off my air flow. My face became red quickly. My lungs began to burn I looked to George for help but he was in shock. The guy let go just before I blacked out. I fell to the ground coughing, trying desperately to get air back into my lungs. I just sat there for a few seconds. My vision was cloudy. George came into focus a second later he helped me to my feet by my good shoulder and we walked me to the hospital wing.

I was told to lay down on the bed next to Haylie. I did so in a daze. I still couldn't see right and the pain from my arms was returning. I winced. Then Madam Pomfrey told me to drink a potion. I did then the pain started to ease away. I started to drift off to sleep but then she reset my arms. She said that they were mended but that my shoulder would be sore for a while and that I needed to stay the night here to see how much damage the loss of air had done. All this I caught as I drifted into unconsciousness.
